So, what do you guys think is the main reason/key to why BB have survived all these years and are still alive and active?
I think just sticking it out through the rough times when maybe other sites would have just closed. And I like to think trying to make a safe place as best we can makes a difference. But in the past couple of years, having new fans find the shows has kept the board active.

Surprisingly enough... politics. I've become kind of addicted to the field in general and follow a number of political podcasts now even, so even when I take a break, I don't really take a break, haha. But there's a lot of overlap of course so I'm glad I'm taking both. 🙂

The cookie competition was fun a couple years ago. More recently, the Drabble competitions have been neat to do; lots of creative minds around here. Oh! And Tome's top 50 scenes! It was awesome seeing him put that together.
1) We have a pretty solid group of good members who contribute while being respectful.
2) Members becoming friends. There are so many real relationships that have been made here, it's hard to walk away from that.
3) People being willing to let go of drama and move past it. We gone through bad times and people have had their feelings hurt, but we've had a good number of members who have been willing to take responsibility for their actions as well as forgive and move on from things. I think people genuinely want to see this place to stay active, which is awesome.
4) People are still being introduced to the show (thanks Netflix and reruns) so we still get new members!

I haven't been playing too much, but when I am I've been playing the new Call of Duty and Star Wars Battlefront. Still have the new Assassin's Creed to play also lol

I'm not a gamer; just never got into any video or pc games. But I do love board games! Love having game nights with friends and kicking butt at Taboo or Dutch Blitz.

Yes! It's fun....man, I haven't played it in years.
@Taake umm, probably either Changing Channels or The French Mistake. They're both east viewing eps and you don't need to know the backstory to enjoy them.
I own a PS3 however I also own about 3 games for it, and 2 of them are Harry Potter ones! So no not really a gamer!
No pets, but I pet sit for others often, having a Jack Russell next weekend to look after.

Lol, I'm not a gamer at all. I'm lol-ing because when I've tried (for my brother's sake) I was just terrible at it. The closest thing I've come to enjoying any games (including board games) was the first Buffy X-box game. I do try to keep some kind of interest and knowledge up in the games my brother plays, just to be able to understand what he's talking about 😛
As for pets, as many already know, I have a dog named Buffy. Used to have a dog named Fanja (bought with my sister and now lives with her) who in hindsight really should've been named Faith. We usually just call them B & F though so, I can pretend...

The French Mistake is just a fun ep, seeing Sam and Dean completely out of their element it's not an ep you take seriously.
Yes! Gishwhes is crazy but I think it would be crazier if we won. I loved it when we got in the book last year!

I don't; but my family has two awesome dogs and two cats! I miss pets, but it's nice to live in a house with ZERO pet hair!
Hmm, planning events is neat. I feel like it's easier to do as a staff member. Also, being on staff has kept me more invested/interested in these boards which is cool because there are a lot of awesome members here. 🙂

That is the nice part... the only shedding I have to worry about is mine own. And not having the 'responsibility' of kenneling the pet when you are out of town, etc.

It's so nice to not have to worry about kenneling/pet sitting.
I make it a priority, or do some here and some there throughout the day. Leave the big stuff for the weekends.

Honestly, the amount of time here depends on how busy I am at work. I try and check in 2-3 times a day during the work week; most days I'm able to do so. Don't know if that will always be the case though....
And also, just enjoying being a part of these boards makes it easier to find time to check in. The conversations are interesting! 🙂
