Asteroid crater found under the ice

Found under the ice of the North Pole.
Any one got any thoughts on it?
It is thought to have been caused by an asteroid about a kilometre wide.
I bet Santa was a tad late on his deliveries those few years about 30 to 50,000 years ago.

The date the crater formed has been narrowed down to 12, 000 years ago and as long ago as a few million years. The asteroid has been upgraded to be up to 1.5 km wide the crater being 31 km wide.
As you may have guessed Australia had to have a big crater, at 400 km wide at the Warburton Basin. It is the second largest in the world and when there has been a large rainfall in Queensland it fills with rain.
