I was screaming with sheer joy when I read this headline at www.tvguide.com Okay, so Farscape is about my third favorite show, but holy crackers am I happy today!

SO NEAR, SO FARSCAPE: Frellin' awesome!! As reported in next week's TV Guide magazine, the Jim Henson Company is producing a four-hour Farscape miniseries that will tie up the loose ends left dangling when the cult hit was prematurely axed last year by Sci Fi Channel. "It's an epic conclusion to the series," confides a source. The project "” which will reunite leads Ben Browder and Claudia Black "” will start shooting in December in Australia. Since the telefilm is unlikely to air on Sci Fi, word is it may be sold into syndication. So there!

Talk about news that can make you look forward to living the next few months.😛

So far, I don't think this news has been 100% confirmed, so anyone who likes Farscape, don't get your hopes too high. But nothing goes up at tvguide.com if it isn't almost perfectly true.

I hear ya, Mr. Pointy. How in the world are they going to work out the Aeryn and John situation? Some pretty good writing is about to come to life I suppose.🙂

It was rumoured, after the show got canned, that the producers wanted to do a TV movie or mini-series to tie up the loose ends. I like to think it was because the show's fans were so supportive of it - even though not enough of the US ones watched the last season 😉
I've read that the story has already been written. It's just a case of turning it into TV...🙂

BTW what exactly does "sold into syndication" mean? I thought I understood US TV but "syndication" always floors me.
