i am a devoted buffy follower who lives in Australia but i can tell you now it is hard to find other Aussies to talk to, no one over here seems to even like the show let alone follow it or worship it. I am in serious need for someone from my own country to talk to about all this stuff, especially as we are so far behind and while i can generally keep up with the conversation by reading the scripts my script supplier is still behind the genral conversation i read on the boards. So. Australians please talk to me, tell me your msn details or even an icq number cos i'll start using it again if i can ge someone to talk to.
 
i added my embarrassing msn email that i chose when i was like 12 to my profile.. i rarely use it though. and i'm not much of a conversationist. 😱
 
I know the feeling. I live in the UK and everyone I know either doesn't know what the hell Buffy is or just don't watch it. It's not that often that you find someone to talk to in your home town about BtVS. That's why the Internet is so great. Connecting people, that's why I love it on here. There's such a huge range of people from different places around the world. It's great. It opens your mid up to how big the world really is and how much of it we actually take up. I'm right with ya stormwolfe.
 
I love it here, but I have to say that nothing beats sitting down and verbalising ones obssesion, or getting together to watch old and new episodes. My freinds and family are so sick of all the old eps bar season six, and that is only cos i've only just bought it.

I will admit however this msg board is amazing and i never thought i would find something so big to be a part of. I have looked for years and I'm not quite sure how i stumbled accross this place but i am so glad i did.
 
i to know the feeling it was just me and my friend who liked it in school and when we would talk about it people were like "buffy thats $hit" and after a couple of months they were like"you still watch buffy!" when they over herd us talking about it agen. what fools! now im at college and just under half my art class are buffaholics but its me and one other who are totaly obsesed! its always the creative people who watch buffy!
