Avatar Personality

Yeah I usually think of people by their avatar and I get all confused when they have changed it! I don't think that Dzhugashvili would be the same without that particular picture.... it's how I know to avoid certain posts! lol only joking!

Don't you think it's weird too when another member gets the same avatar as someone else on the board! It takes me a while to realise that they are not the other person.

Or I see a tough exterior but really vulnerable inside. A protective armour with a soft underbelly.

LMAO! Ok "now" I'm really gonna change my av! haha... well I was gonna change it at some point soon but I'll change it sooner so that I can have you doing a new interpretation of the new one :P
i think a person's avatar definitly tells about their personality. if you're into darker things, you wouldnt necessarily want a peppy, happy avatar...unless you were making a point, which is part of your personality anyway.
 
I had the same av from the moment I got here until I had to change it to a custum av, Except for that week Joamna made me change it in a game of Duck, Duck goose, But it was cuz I liked Willow and the Black Eyes matched my Username! And we had a new member sign up and use that Av and I made a joke about it being so rude when new members use the avs some of the others were using, and he apolagised and then I felt bad - But I did actually start to look at it as my av. lol.

And my one now is cuz George from GA, is the character I most relate to from any TV show ever!

Oh yeah, the avatar I use is MY avatar. I'd be a little pissed if someone else used it. :P
I use my avatar because I think this is the hottest that Eliza has ever looked 🙂 If anybody knows where I can find a bigger version of this pic, please link me to it !!!!!! I would like to make a sig with this pic.
 
but avs i think do say something about the person as i said before.. there was a reason you chose it! but whats weird is when i look at mine ... well i change mine all the time... but i dont know what you guys see me as with my av :silly: to me it just works with peeps that arent well.. me

I just tend to pick an image I like, I don't choose it to reflect how I am feeling....or maybe I do *shrugs*. 😉

I tend to keep the same avatar for quite a while, although I did actually change it a couple of days ago as there were some new avs added.

I do, however, tend to associate other people with their avatars, I think it helps me form an image of what I imagine them to look like, most times of course, it's absolutely nothing what they actually do look like. 😀
 
My very first avatar was Oz on the pool tabloe. But then someone knew joined and used it too. so I had to change it. Same thng happened with my next avatar which was Lindsay.

At least there arent many people who'd use a Wood one so Im safe now 🙂
 
i choose my AV's based on my fave characters...i mean, i had that Connor one for AGES! lol but truthfully, i tend to keep mine to Connor, Spike, Faith or Buffy...or WWE stars!! lol, i'd love to know what people are thinking about me and my Jeff Hardy AV!!

Ok... it was hard for me to change cause I was attached to the other av... but here we go cause it was still about time... what about your interpretation now Dzhu.?:silly:
 
I usually like to pick avs that are different, and ones that other people don't have.

I also find that sometimes I change my avatar a lot depending on my mood. But if I get one I really like it usually sticks...like my last bangel av (which for the record was my first ever av on this board).

I do relate avs to people...like I can't get used to Jenny not having her SMG av 😉 Although your new one is really cute and Old Master not having a Giles av 😛 I tend to focus more on the av than a person's username...lol...

That's true though hun! If someone has a male avatar then I automatically think of them as a man! For example, and no offence here, but I always think of Wicked as a man! I know she's not but when I'm reading her posts I just think man because of her avatar. I had to look at her mini profile to find the F sign before I realised my mistake, and she's just an example I think of other members who are male with female avatars that way too!

I usually have a Cordelia avatar. I wonder if anyone has made that assumption with me.
 
Yeah as Freakydorky said I've never thought of you as a girl due to your name! Although I must admit when I first joined Freakydorky I did think you were a guy. The banner didn't help! I need to be more active around here as I'm so dumb I over look the obvious.
