IQ also doesn't tell you how successful you'll be in life. It doesn't determine someone's drive or common sense which are definitely more important to someone's overall intelligence...

Well IQ could definitely say something about your intelligence, about how good you are at solving logical "problems" quite fast. I happen to be kinda good at that, but in my opinion that has got little to do with intelligence. Or how smart you are. I almost wish it did, but it doesn't. I have never really understood what IQ is supposed to be. I mean, you can't know someone's "IQ" for sure. You can only do stupid tests, and see what they tell you. But really, someone who has difficulty with taking tests, or thinking locial while on a time limit, can be just as intelligent as anyone else (of course).
But, I actually do believe it's possible that BtVS fans are often kinda "smart" people. (But I don't think it's got a lot to do with IQ..)

Most internet tests are not set right, it can vary a few points only for a few minutes when it takes at least 2 or so hours to take a real IQ test.

Yeah, IQ tests are all set differently. I don't think any of them are really that accurate too.

Hey, did you know that IQ meant intelligence qoutient (bah, can't spell)? And it's supposed to measure how smart you CAN be?
I did not know that...

Now that I think about it, they need to remake IQ test.

First off most people can't understand the words that they use in the test. They should use words that most people understand. So that takes away points.

Second, there are people who have learning disabilities who take the test and it shows that their IQ is low when it's really high.

Then there are the en-measurable ones, the people with IQ scores that are off the charts like Einstein.

Well, Einstein was said to be stupid because he couldn't talk until he was 4 and read until he was 7. Somewhere around that age.

It didn't matter, because he grew to be a great person. Not all geniuses or people grow up the same way. He was probably one of the few who had a learning disability.

I know I had one, but I grew out of it and learned like other people did.

You don't "grow out" of a learning disability. You have it forever, it's just that some people take classes to help with that problem.

Like, for dyslexia, people learn ways to help read the word.

Eistein didn't have a learning disability... he had de-formed brains (kinda).

Seriously, his brains were structured in a different way than us "normal" people.

I understand the questions I just don't know the answers 😀 Its like any quiz, your only going to do well if you know the answers and if you are not interested in a particular area then you won't know it.

Ah, the infamous nutty professor-syndrome... lol, well basically, sometimes the more intelligent you the less you're able to think logically about basic things in life, because you're with your head in the clouds. You're sometimes thinking too difficult... you analyse all possibilities according to scientifically approved methods... while any other grocery shopper would just pick their brand of chocolate sprinkles 😉

Yeah that's an interesting thought at least. And theories based on nothing but random thoughts by a person who don't know that much about the subject can be way more interesting and realistic than complicated theories based on analyses and stuff made by someone who has studied the subject for years. Uh, in my opinion. But, rambling now so. I'll stop. Not sure that has anything to do with intelligence either though, only knowledge.

it's also about common since but they don't have stuff about that on there tests.
i have more common since than anything but some would say i'm more smart because of it. not sure about that, because even those with more since than others can some times be stupid at times.

and sometimes intellagent people can be stupid. it think it depends a lot more things than what is covered in an iq test.

I still stand by my statement that the average Buffy/Angel fan I run into seems to be MUCH higher than the idiots I deal with in real life. 😀
