I'm so sorry guys, with all the excitment of VM and family stuff, I forgot to post the thread about the awards info! But I'm here now posting!

They will be held in less than 12 hours. I was thinking we could do a pre-party an hour before the awards, and an after party immediately following. There will be threads for these parties, but (and this is where I really wish I had remembered to post this thread yesterday) I want to know if there's enough interest to set up a VH chatroom for the occasion. Even if there's not, I set one up anyway and will be in there all day. The link: VH Chat Just sign in with your username.

Basically, the pre-party/anticipation celebration thread will open approximately an hour before: 4 PM EST(maybe a little early), the awards will be posted at 5 PM EST, and the after party/congratulatory celebration will start after that... it seems like the way it's worked in years past is that these things do not all happen, but Miki's idea of a party in the suggestion thread made me really want to have a PARTY! =)
 
yay! sounds great. Which time are the actual awards? 5 PM America time? 🙂 So that's 11 PM my time? 🙂 I have work today, but I'm hoping to be able to attend the actual ceremony 🙂

I have a feeling that TYG will be taking home many of the awards this evening! 🙂 I'll be over in the corner sipping my milk, passed out from all the partyin. Oh yeah. Life on the edge! That's the Manda way!

I don't know if I'll be around for the actual show. I have a lot going on this weekend, so I can't promise anything
 
I'm about to go out to my French conversation club and the way I feel at the moment I might go straight to bed when I get in, so apologies if I'm not there.

Well they were/are scheduled to be tonight at 5, I wish I hadn't gone to that meeting/more people had told me they wouldn't be able to come before when I announced the times... I would have chanted it
Just checkin' in to see if it had started ... was an hour early :S Too bad.
 
Oh goodness, I wish more people had told me when the time was announced before that it was an inconvenient time, I would have rescheduled! Oh well, sorry you all can't make it. 🙁
