I have started to post the polls for this year's BB awards. You can find them in the Slaying Times forum Here
The polls will close on Sunday 25th February and the results will be announced at the BB Awards ceremony to be held on a Saturday soon after then.
If you feel you must contribute to the Awards poll threads, can I ask that your posts please stay on topic ie. providing examples of threads or posts relevant to why your fave nominee deserves the award in question.

Edit: All polls are now posted. Thanks to my employer who (unbeknownst to them 😉) has provided the time and facilities for me to do the posts 😛
 
Just to remind you all that the awards polls will close tomorrow (February 25th) so if you haven't voted yet you don't have much time left 🙂
 
The awards polls are now closed...thanks to all who took part.

All being well, the award ceremony will take place next Saturday (March 3rd) at approx. 7pm GMT... HERE is a site with some useful time zone checking stuff if you want to work out what time it will be where you are. The BB Virtual Arena has been dusted down and aired out and will be set up in the Social Studies forum and the format will be much the same as last year...here's hoping we have as good an evening as last time 🙂

I forgot to add above...I will let the winners know as soon as I have the results confirmed. If they wish to be online for the awards evening they can post their acceptance speech live or if they can't make it I'll ask them to PM me an acceptance, which I will post on their behalf.

Dammit I'll miss it this time! It was so much fun last year! I really enjoyed posting in both the awards thread and the after party thread.
 
Okay, you gotta start having these things midweek! Saturday is the one night of the week when I'm almost guaranteed to be out. Having said that, I'm out on Friday this week so it might make a little financial sense to use the BB Awards as an excuse to stay in, lol.

Also, just wanted to apologise for not having nominated or voted this year. It wasn't due to not caring or lack of interest. Just that my obvious absence from the boards over the last few weeks made it impossible. I did take the time to come up with a list of nominations before I had to disappear but for one reason or another I just couldn't find the time to get them to Mr. P. Too much real life stuff going on. As it happens, luckily all my nomination choices have ended up in the appropriate polls anyway, so no great loss.

Anyway, sorry again all.
 
hopefully i will be here...might just have to make up some excuse not to go out! lol, spent too much money on Friday! lol
it was so much fun at the awards last year, i'm gonna try not to miss it!
 
You should all go out on Friday and claim you got so wrecked you need to stay in on Saturday...thus contributing to your overall health and well-being and with the added bonus of awards...we're so gonna be better than those skanky ol' Oscars btw 😉
 
i know im busy part of that day, but here's hoping i'll be back by the time the awards happen, or at least for part of them. it would totally stink to miss them AGAIN!!!! 🙁
 
Nevermind, I'm all kinds of stupid today...

AWARDS FTW! I'm actually gonna show, guys. Fer sher. WITH JOHNNY DEPP HELLS YEA. Even though I'm on more of a Jared Leto kick lately. Meh.
