Upon perusing (sp?) our boards tonight I have really noticed that there are some very talented individuals here. I am just in amazment by some of the graphics and intellect of the members here. Especially the banners that have been posted , I cannot believe the ages of our artists here (rather young but extremely talented). I just want to let everyone know that I am very proud to be a member here and to say that YOU ROCK!!!

I absolutely agree with this - we have some very talented people here and we should be proud of them. As I've said before I'm impressed by the guys who don't speak English as a first language - I would have trouble reading a board in Swedish, Norwegian, Portuguese, Dutch, German etc (sorry if I missed anyone) let alone making coherent and intelligent posts. You're spot on about the artists as well SD and as for those intellectuals here, it's always a pleasure to read a thread with some proper argument in it.

Could I just ask that we keep this thread general please? Rather than let it develop into a popularity contest that is...I just think that those can get a bit divisive and cliquey is all...

I agree with Pointy. There are too many opportunities for this to become competitive... so let's avoid that shall we?

I totally love this idea. There are definately so many good writers and artist on this forum. And I love to see people with actually brains talking about things that are an issue in society today. Love it. It's an inspiration to me, an aspiring sociologist. It helps me to understand what I'm studying. I get a sense of personal gratification when I speak to other people on this board. 😉

It's cool that you write this, I'm always worried that no one will understand what I write.. I hope at least some of you do..

I agree, I've never been able to make banners or anything like that, but some of you are just great.
And I've never found a board that has this kind of serious discussions.. and it actually works.. Just saying there are a lot of wonderful people here, can't believe I've found a board like this one, I love it. (Now I just sound obsessed again.. aww.. well, I can live with that.)
