Blah blah blah, I know this has been done to death, but coming of the other thread...I want to know what you guys think.

My boyfriend (who I've been with since I was 16) has the last name "Pickles", so I kinda need to be mindful of that. Couldn't ever call my daughter Lilly, "Piccalilli" anyone?

I like old fashioned names, if I had a boy, his name would be Charles, shortened to Charlie.

For a girl, I like, Alice, Hannah, Erin, Harriett, Sophia, Evie.

I had pickles yesterday!

You'll just have to insist on the kid(s) having YOUR surname, then.
I don't like old fashioned named at all (sorry). I like uncommon names. They might be weird sometimes, but not THAT weird. I wouldn't name my daughter Apple for example.
My lists changes once in a while, but for now...

Girls:
Kaya (mine!)
Chantal
Gia (my bunny's name)
Ichelle (I know it's a really weird one, and it's not even really spelled that way, the original spelling is too complicated. It's the Mayan Goddess. Because of it's meaning, and because it sounds like Michelle, I thought it was nice and original. Maybe needs time to get used to though).

(I think Enemies' name is really pretty and unique, because of it's spelling, Linzi)

Boys:
Graham
Cameron
Patrick
Adam (my brother's name)
Finn
(Have you noticed a season 4 guys theme here? 😀)

I don't remember more, because I have more. I have a list somewhere.

They are really easy once you know how to sound them out :)

Aww thank you :)
I personnally like Emy, Amy and Jema/Jemma/Gema (Ringer fan 😀 )

For a boy, I like Alexander, Merick (and no, it's not after my dorm's name 😉), Jack and Max.

Stu, Drew, Lou, Tommy, or Dil for boys.

Didi, Charlotte, or Angelica for the girls. (And don't forget Cynthia, the honorary Pickles 😀)

Pickles...please name your children Tommy and Dil.

Anyway...haha I have a list, somewhere. I'm weird. I don't know where it is, but I like the name Charlie, not crazy about Charles though. I might name my kid that, but we'd never, ever call him Charles. I also like the name Liam. I have so many girl names that I like. I'm obsessed with the name Prudence, but my family hates it, and I promised my aunt that I'd name my first daughter Gwen.

I also love the names Zoey, Maya, Kaya (but that's kind of off limits now...seeing as it's my littlest sister's, my other sister might get jealous 😉) Madigan, and Lillian. There are just too many. I have so many girl names...yet I hope I have two boys.

They'll probably end up having really girly names. Poor kids. I also like the name Angelica...but I won't be able to think about anyone other than Angelica Pickles when I hear it, and I don't want my kid to be associated with her haha.

I love the name Drew for a boy as my boyfriends Andrew and I think it's a nice variation of the name 🙂

I like Sophia... Obviously since I'm due in a couple of weeks and her name will be Sophie Grace. The only boy's name I ever liked was Aiden so that's what my son was named. We are done with baby making after Sophie, but other girls names I like are Ava or Kaelyn.

I am all about traditional Irish names.

For girls: Aisling, Aoibheann, Orlaith, and Niamh

For Boys: Aodhan, Niall, Seà¡n, à“isàn, Pà¡draig, Cian, Donal, Cormac, Fionn, Donnacha, and Tadhg.

As you can see, I clearly want sons. lol

Another favourite of mine for a boy was Ràan, but my sister stole it and used it to name my nephew. 🙂

I need you too post audio clips, Cian and Niall being the exceptions ;-) (Cian 'cos I've spoken to the Irish show jumper w/the same name (and by now a horse I wish was still here) and Niall because it seems very closely related to the Norwegian Njål.

<3 the name Niamh
miromurr agrees: I need you too post audio clips, Cian and Niall being the exceptions ;-) (Cian 'cos I've spoken to the Irish show jumper w/the same name (and by now a horse I wish was still here) and Niall because it seems very closely related to the Norwegian Njål.

Okay, I'll do my best. I may not get them all though.

Aisling: a Christy Moore clip, he says the name in the first few seconds and explains its meaning. Nice of him, that 😉 🙂

Aoibhean: I couldn't find one for Aoibheann but it's pronounce "A"-veen.

Orlaith: The girl says her name at the start of the clip.

Niamh: The host says it about 3 seconds into the clip.

Aodhan is the same as Aidan or Aiden. I'm sure I can pull a clip if you want though 🙂

Niall is like the river, Nile.

Seà¡n is Sean, or Shawn.

à“isàn: It is said several times in this clip (It's from one of my favourite films Into the West 🙂) but it can be heard for the first time at 24 seconds.

Pà¡draig: Right at the start of the clip.

Cormac: It's said about 5 seconds into the clip.

Fionn: Said at about 26 seconds in.

awwwwwwwwwwwww CONNOR!
I don't know how well these names will translate into english, but I want to name my baby Edith if it's a girl or Hjalmar if it's a boy. It's after two famous swedish authors. Edith is like my favourite name ever. But it's becoming really popular here in sweden now and I don't want my baby to be just another Anna, I've had like 4 girls named Anna in every class I've ever been in. 😀

I also really like the name Cordelia. I've never thought of it before xfivebyfive mentioned it, but I think it's a really nice name "translated" to swedish.

hehe Cordelia is just an awesome name!!!
I love the names, Jean, Beatrice, Penny, Poppy or Vada for a girl, and Daniel, Noah, Callum, Brody or Albert for a boy.
