Hello!

Long time Buffyverse fan here! Rewatching the show and I wanted to discuss with other fans.

Don’t know where to start really so here goes!

Choosing a favorite episode is very hard. I ranked the entire series Seasons 1-7 by episode over 10 years ago. Lost that list. But maybe I’ll do a new one on the rewatch!

Favorite character is obviously Kendra. I feel like there was so much to explore with that character.

Least favorite main character: Anya. Won’t offend Anya fans, I respect everyone and their opinion but just sharing a few things about me Buffy related.

Also I love collecting Buffy memoribilia. And love seeing others collections!

Welcome to the forum! We would all love to see your list of favourites and we did have a thread about it a few years ago but it would take ages to find it (or maybe the search function would come up with it right away) I think you will find that this forum is more intelligent and civil than most fan forums out there so that's why I joined 13 years ago and am on here daily..
 
Seasons are a lot easier to rank than all the episodes (but I will do that again, soon!)

But 3 and 2 are basically interchangeable. I have 7 over 6 because I love the ending and how we get things wrapped up. And season 1 is still fun but without a cohesive story other than the Master, it’s mostly monster of the week episodes which are fun but compared to the other seasons I just feel like it’s the weakest.

Hmmm that’s a good question! Angel was toast. I was leaving him in that cage to SUFFER 🙂 lol I joke!

As for what kind of book? A mystery. Why? Because as open as I am, I still like to keep people guessing. Oh and who doesn’t love a good mystery?

Let’s hope I’m not the kind of mystery that annoys people with too many twists and turns!

Question: if you could write a Kendra centric episode, what do you wish it would have explored?

Honestly what I think would have been a fun episode for Kendra would have been an alternate reality type episode. Sort of like The Wish.

In the episode, it would explore what would have happened if Kendra were called as the slayer before Buffy. What would Sunnydale have looked like? Would Kendra have made friends? Would she be a more ruthless slayer if she doesn’t have the friendships that buffy has?

If you mean what would I like to see in a Kendra centric episode in true reality? I would have loved to see an episode in season 2. She goes back home and we get an entire episode of her slaying when she’s home. We see her with her watcher. How she handles things when it’s just her without Buffy. It would give us a different outlook on slayers. And I would have loved to see her personality more when she’s not going back and forth with Buffy.

Her style of humor was so deadpan but I think it could have become a trademark if we got more time with her.

I like this, cause it is really interesting that Kendra kind of introduced into the show that some potentials are identified before they are called and are trained early for their calling. It is such a lonely and specific life, it makes sense that they decided to explore the theme in novels later on.

So definitely would have been interesting to get to see Kendra’s home life.

Welcome to the board! You chose the right one for sure. I'm on here almost daily. There's a great group of people here. I'm currently re-watching S7, and discussing it in this thread. Please feel free to join in!

I used to collect memorabilia, but moved so many times that I got tired of taking it all with me, so I sold it all, and took myself on vacation, lol. Well, I did keep one thing, a trading card signed by SMG and James Marsters.

What sorts of memorabilia do you collect? Figures?
 
Ohhh an SMG and Marsters card signed? That’s a big one. Love it!

I collect figures, magazines, cards, posters, statues. You name it lol. I think I have every piece of Kendra memoribilia I’ve ever seen lol. The next character I collect is Buffy. I’d like to get some cool Dawn stuff too!
