Back From The Dead

Assuming that someone is going to come back from the dead this season, who would you want it to be and why?

Frankly, I think that the "bringing back from the dead" thing has been used far, FAR too often in the Buffyverse, but if there has to be another one return, my vote is for Cordy. If anyone can get Angel back on track, it would be her. Plus, as a Higher Being, her return wouldn't really be as much a resurrection as it would be a sort of visit to the old stamping grounds.

I hope you're right... Making Cordy or Tara come back would be the best thing that Joss would have done in a long while. 🙂

No one. I would love to have Cordelia back, but seriously, death already lost its meaning and effect with all these characters coming back to life.

I don't mind bringing more people back from the dead, it's been done a lot but it doesn't bother me and I would love it if Tara came back.

I think as long as there is a really good reason why someone was brought back from the dead, then I don't mind it

I would really adore to see Cordy back but quite frankly, if someone else is brought back from the dead I'd consider dropping the books. I don't even want Giles back. The story needs him to stay dead.

Death means zero in the Buffyverse, and with a story that is capable of really going anywhere, it needs the grounding of mortality to stop it spiraling out of control like last season.

I could forgive Joss for the whole Twilight thing if he brought back Joyce, Anya, or Tara. lol Bringing back either of the three would make their remaining counterparts Buffy/Dawn, Xander, Tara more than overjoyed and give them some much deserved happiness.

I don't mind bringing people back from the dead. I'd be happy to see Cordy, Tara, Anya, Wesley. I think Joss could tell amazing stories about them.

Cordy would be awesome to have back, but I'm with the crowd here: death has no finality in the Buffyverse anymore. Death is supposed to be scary and life-shattering but now, for the Scoobies it seems like its just another obstacle easily overcome. Those who are departed need to stay that way if for no other reason than to show that its a big deal and FINAL.

I agree with most people here that bringing back characters has been used way too often. But if one character has to come back, I would choose Cordelia because she's a higher being and the writers would have an easier time explaining why she came back
