Bad episode

In the season 4 dvd theres a little note written by Joss and it says something about a bad episode that he wrote. Does anyone know which one he is talking about?
 
Here's the episodes he wrote for Season 4:

The Freshman
Hush
Who Are You?
Restless

Hard to pick a bad one.

Maybe he wrote one that never made the final cut, and was never filmed. Is that possible?
 
hmmmmm maybe he was makin a joke about hush ya know? saying that it was bad
 
I'm not exactly sure if he said "he" wrote it. But on the little note he wrote he said something like 'sorry about the bad episode it sounded good when we wrote it.' I heard roomers that it was either beer bad or restless but I love both of them. Especially beer bad its like one of my favorite episodes.

LOL i acually liked all those eps... 😉 but yeah maybe he wrote one he didn't want to air cos it suxed? And now he only want to confuse us??? it could happen... LOL 😀
 
Do you mean the little letter that came out in the DVD package of season four? Because I think that he was just making a joke. In fact, from other things I've read that he's written, like the liner notes of the OMWF soundtrack, I'm pretty sure he was kidding. Maybe not, though.
 
I remember Joss said that Beer Bad sounded like a good episode when they thought it up.
 
Well, if it's in terms of him wirting it... probably a joke for "Hush".

If it's in terms of 'we' writing it, like all the writers, probably beer bad.

but, I like beer bad. It's got great lines.
 
hes admitted that superstar sucked but i think he was kidding, cause if any of you have read his letter about angel season five on http://www.thewb.com he jokes alot in that too
 
He was talking about Beer Bad, if you watch the season 4 overview he comes right out and says it.

Hush I'm pretty sure is his all time favorite.
Followed closely by Restless. Both of these epidsodes were critically acclaimed, As I'm sure everyone knows that Hush was nominated for a Primetime emmy, that year. Actually too I read it in an interview before season four came out.
 
Yeah, it was one of those episodes that don't really make an impact on you, but mostly make you point out the screen and mutter "heh-heh that was funny"
