Bad Music Covers

I actually don't think it's bad compared to some other covers posted by me and you guys, but compared to the original version by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers it's rather bad.
Sorry Taylor Swift fans, I really don't think it's that bad.
I just didn't want to make another thread 'OK Music Covers'. 😀

I actually like this cover, it is one of the better ones she's done..
I wish I could post Taylor Swift - I'm Every Woman on here but some people would kill me (or at least send me death threats) and I'm not looking for that. To those of you on this board who have the song... Please agree with me... it's awful. I can't bring myself to listen to it anymore. I did like ten time and then I was like "Oh god this cover just cannot be good. It's not where, how, when, what mood I'm in when I listen to it... It just sucks."

Also, I really like Adele these days, but I just cannot get behind her cover of "lovesong" - the Cure totally own that one to me.
 
I don't know if this counts because the band wasn't famous, but I once heard a cover of Weezer's "Say it aint so" by this band called Probustus. I'm not gonna lie I took one of their free demos... they were so freaking terrible, that they were kind of good.

Check out the first post in the "Good Covers" thread; it's an amazing Led Zeppelin cover.

Led Zeppelin were one of my first loves. I almost saw them, then John Bonham died. 🙁

Oh that sucks. I love, though, that they're like one of the only legendary groups not to sell out or keep doing reunion tours and whatnot.

I'm going to have to disagree on your disagree Ma'am 😀. Have you seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show episode?. I cant watch the film or listen to the soundtrack without shuddering, the destroyed it for me. Also that was the first and only full episode I've seen (I was forced into seeing by my girlfriend)

Agree about RHPS covers.
I found this version of Stand by Me by John Lennon, and as much as most things he did were great with the Beatles and the song Imagine, this song smacks of someone resentful and angry and it's just not very good at all, I wonder what his motivation for doing this cover was?
