Bale's Batman Beat Sarah's Buffy

Now, granted, this isn't BALE'S Batman, but just to show how bad the guy really is...

Its questionable if an axe driven by slayer force could crush Batmans armor, but a stake through the eye socket sure works and Buffy is agile enough to do it.

Besides she can evade batman-sign throwing stars and every other fancy stuff Batman could use.
And well, when we include firearms in the discussion then I would take on both, provided with a sniper rifle, plain sight and half a mile distance since none of them can fetch bullets.

I say Batman is a better fighter and more cunning, but with the superpowers and the experience on Buffys side it would be an even match, my guess: 50:50
 
I know less than nothing about Batman except from The Dark Night. Given that, I'd say Buffy would absolutely win. Batman's cool and stuff, but Buffy's faster both physically and mentally. She'd kick his ass.

You're assuming that Buffy would be aware of the fact that Batman's costume is armored, which might be questionable. If not, she would aim for the same targets that she always goes for first: the chest and heart, or the neck for beheading, assuming that her current weapon has a cutting edge. Since it has been established that those areas are armored on Batman, the time spent going for them would be wasted on her part, but would allow more than enough time him to retaliate with deadly force.

Also, remember, a Slayer might be faster and stronger than a normal human, but they aren't invulnerable. . Batman has quite successfully fought super powered opponents in the past, whereas Buffy has never faced anyone who is armored and armed the way that he would be.

Batman has the advantage in diverse skills, including but not limited to traditional and nontraditional martial arts and ninja techniques that would put an Olympic Gold Medal gymnast to shame, and highly sophisticated weaponry, most of which Buffy would not be expecting or know how to counter.

And once more, it's "Hasta la vista, Buffy."

I thought even higher. From what I'd heard, Bruce Wayne, Lex Luthor, and Mister Terrific were supposedly among the smartest beings in the universe.

Even @ 192, Buffy wouldn't even be remotely close...

I have no doubt that Buffy's body is physically faster, but along with your point, it really comes down to how fast they can each think.

I take exception to this. The writers made it perfectly clear in S8 that she's 100% invulnerable to harm of any kind. She's impossible to kill. Unless Batman found some way to make her lose her powers it's impossible for her to lose. The best he could hope for is a stalemate.

We're also talking about BaleBat here and they never indicate in the movies he has an IQ of 192 or even anything close to that. He doesn't have nearly as many feats under his belt as all the other Batmans.

Okay, lol.

As I said in the quote, I was referring there to the Timmverse Batman & the Return of Bruce Wayne Bruce...

In the Timmverse, by this time, Superman more-or-less expects Batman to kill him if Superman ever endangers earth again. And I'd say Timmverse Superman is orders of magnitude stronger than Super Buffy or (Tw)Angel. Superman's also invulnerable, doesn't need to eat, and grows stronger with age. And this guy expects Batman to kill him if need be.

Additionally, in the Timmverse, the US Government more-or-less expects Batman to stop the Justice League if they ever go rogue. By this time the League has around 200 members, many of whom are "gods," immortal beings, etc.

Then, in The Return of Bruce Wayne, last week's issue had Bruce nose-to-nose with Superman, Green Lantern, and Booster Gold. The three tried to stop him with all of their will, yet he wound up unscathed, leaving them to die.

I think BaleBat is meant to be genius-level. After all, he created a way to track down anyone in the city if they as much as spoke near a phone connected to a cell tower.

I don't think immortal means what these writers think it means. If we're taking it literally, it means you cannot die. It doesn't mean you're really really really strong it means you're immortal. Buffy was immortal. Invulnerable. Invincible. The Superman in your verse seems to obviously not be invulnerable if he can die.

(Also, the way you're making it sound these writers really do want to write Batman to be the most invincible superhero ever, so I stand by my earlier statement)
 
Immortality doesn't have to include being indestructible. It doesn't even always mean that in the Buffyverse.



Unless I'm wrong, a couple of issues ago, didn't Giles mention something he was looking for that could kill Buffy and Angel if their power became too much?

No, you're mistaken. Spike & Angel are often referred to as "immortal," and don't meet any of your criteria. (See ToShanshuInLA's post)

Again, you're mistaken. Please check the meaning of invincible (I don't think it means what you think).
