I love that scene in Ted when Buffy is taking care of Angel. That's just so cute 🙂

I really miss them now. More then ever. I would really like to see some from of their renuion, I don't care what kind. I'm just kinda selfish that way 🙂

I love the scene in When She was Bad...when he visits her in her room at night. Awww how romantic!!! He must have watched her sleeping for a while! And in the end she finally gives in and forgets her bitchiness and says:"I missed you...(too?)" but he's already gone. Awww sweet Angel!!!

I think it is cute in Halloween when Buffy,eighteenth century girl gets scooped up in Angel's arms when Angel, Cordelia, Xander, and Willow are looking for a warehouse to hide in from Spike and his gang of vampires. Angel puts her down and says stay right here. And then the kiss at the end of the episode when Angel tells Buffy that he likes her because she is exciting and interesting.

Yep, I mean in the form of real people, actors. Because Sarah and David had a big part in mine Bangel love.

I have no idea if Sarah and David believe in the existence of soul-mates but I wouldn't be one bit surprised if they do the way they played two soul mates so believably. The focus on the show was always on how different Buffy and Angel were not how alike they were, nonetheless it still came out in subtle ways.

When she is getting ready to be Tom Cruise:biggrin3: and Angel prepares her, she raises her hands and I think she puts them around his neck...!!!I love that move!!! Maybe it was spontaneous but so sweet!

I have ALWAYS loved that tiny bit in 'Choices' too! It's so cute and just a really normal, loving thing to do.

That episode is Choices from season 3. It also has one of the last scenes in the eppy where Buffy and Angel are sitting under a tree cuddling Buffy slides down and lays her head on Angel's chest and the picture freezes. Unfortuneatly it is the last episode where you see Buffy and Angel couply because the next episode after that is The Prom.

I think it's the beginning of Choices where Buffy and Angel are out patrolling together and Buffy accidently knocks Angel down and says Sorry Honey.

All of this talk in here forced me into watching "I will remember you". I know its been said a thousand times, but its an epic episode. So sad what with Buffy not remembering, "There's not enough time" heartbreaking stuff.

I forgot about "I felt your heart beat" which is complimented with the "Close Your Eyes" Theme, lovely but again hard to watch.

god, seriously, just thinking about that episode makes me tear up. And I'm not a weepy person. But that one just hits me in the heart every time. Just thinking about those last minutes really... Sarah is such a terrific cryer, I could never say no to her 😉

Yep, Sarah and David are so perfect for Buffy/Angel love scenes. They have so much love and enegry for that couple, and I think not working together anymore was just weird for them, I mean 3 years was a lot, so they just had to make that one awesome episode, not just for us fans, for them both. I think Joss had to give both of them faith they'll meet again. I'm just sad they didn't worked together outside the shows, in some movie or something.

They both convey their characters so well when it comes down to Buffy and Angel. David conveys Angel's pain so well when he is near to Buffy. Then you have Sarah who just makes the scene seem so real when she turns on the waterworks and even before she starts crying she performs in a way which makes their love seem totally believeable.

The whole forbidden love is what makes Bangel so powerful. That's why "I will remember you" is such a great episode because finally they are allowed to be together in a literal sense. All that frustration is released and you can see that both of them are just besotted with one another. The scene at the start where you Angel's face looking all nervous when he knows the Buffy backlash is coming. Immediately his persona changes when she walks in the room.

Then on the opposite side of things she misreads the situation when Angel says he feels weird and basicially confesses her love for him is still very much there and always will be. Ok she might not say that exactly but it comes across in that way.

So i agree that Bangel works because both David and Sarah seem so invested in the relationship. There is a clear chemistry there and that blends in with how skilful they both are as actors. Then Joss and especially Christophe Beck just puts the icing on the cake with the music which makes it almost impossible not to feel something when Angel and Buffy are together. You can't find a more powerful love then Bangel.

I know Sarah didn't like Spuffy when it actually happened in S6 but I wonder her reaction to hearing that while she has to act that storyline David's Angel is falling for Cordelia and trying to start a romantic relationship with her. It must have broken her shipper's heart. You could tell that she always believed so strongly in Bangel and that Angel and Buffy are soulmates (proven in the comics). I never thought the writers were able to justify why when Angel finally thought he was ready to be in a romantic relationship and had something to offer a woman he would try to start something with one of his friends instead going back with the first person he ever loved in over two hundred years. He was still in love with Buffy and still wanted to be with her when he left Sunnydale and IWRY proved that if he thought he was worthy of being with her he would jump at the chance to get back together.

Yes, Sarah was not a spuffy fan. I think she was mad at the producers and annoyed about certain scenes. Of course she proved to be a great actress cause in s6, I could really feel Buffy's pain, the whole "life sucks" and sometimes, just sometimes, I can understand why she turned to Spike.

About angel and cordy...I don't know what would Sarah think! If i were Sarah, I would be "are they out of ideas?". Let's just understand that they were on different channels(WB and UPN)...no crossovers were allowed. Until s5, Angel was there, he went to her mother's funeral, it was an amazing bangel moment.

But in s6, I think it was impossible to make a crossover, so the writers had to make them grow apart. It also seems strange to me. Sometimes, I wish AtS was cancelled after 2 seasons, so that AI could go back to Sunnydale. And Angel could be there for Buffy.

It is so obvious that Angel has Buffy on his mind all the time. And in s3, he blames himself for not being able to save her. He suffers. And then bang! he is in love with Cordy.

I was very upset with Hearthrob. I expected it to be a quiet tribute to Angel's feelings for Buffy and all that she had awakened in him (setting him on his path to be a person in the world and a hero). Instead I felt like even his "mourning Buffy's death" episode featured heavily with Cangel. Both wearing blue shirts, James thinking Cordy is Angel's love, almost the entirety of Angel's grief happening off-camera so that all we got was his survivor's guilt, hearing Cordelia tell him that he is honoring Buffy by being "okay" and yet in YW he tells Cordelia that he has been "lost" without her (a last minute ep replacement since they were planning on bringing Buffy in for the 100th but Sarah was busy).

Although I don't like Cangel, Angel being with Cordy was a right thing to do. While Angel was in Hell, Buffy tried to move on with Scott. When Angel left she met Riley, and then that whole thing with Spike. Angel and Cordy were friends, but so were Buffy and Spike. Not as good as Angel and Cordy, but he was there for her most of the times. I think it's little unfair to judge Angel for trying to move on. I think that's the whole point. They were eachothers first love, and they have to convince us, and them, even after they try everything and everyone, when they travel the world and fall in love again, their love will be the true one. They have to learn that they're made for eachother. That in the world, there are other people for them, but that people are not the right ones.

I think it doesn't make any sense for Angel to move on. He left Buffy for reasons that had nothing to do with not being in love with her. Why do the reasons he left Buffy not apply to Cordelia? If he thought he could be with Cordelia than why was it so important to "move on" from Buffy? Wouldn't that just put him in the same situation? Being with someone that he can't sleep with, that is human and will age and die, that is a young woman with her whole life ahead of her while he is old enough to her ancestor, etc.

Angel leaving Buffy and then starting a romantic relationship with someone else in my opinion defeats the entire reason he left Buffy.

Buffy did not really try to move on with Scott. It was a "fake" relationship. It was a chaste, passionless front. He was really gay and she was tired of everyone thinking she had to "find the fun" and was also trying to convince herself that she could keep a distance from Angel. Scott was right when he said that the fire in her had died and she wasn't "full of life" anymore. It was because she still was in mourning. Pete referred to Buffy as "Manic-depressive Girl."

I think they both have the right to move on. But I agree that we saw little of Angel's grief. Of course his look in the end of season 2 with Will coming in L.A, says everything.

But the people they chose were not good for them and vica versa, cause simply when your heart is not fully dedicated in a relationship, something is always missing.
