Just read this. Wow, that was great! And I am giggling hysterically that the master vampire was named Kean. Did the author do that on purpose? 🙂

Imagine my reaction when I read it a few years ago? 😛 And no, I don't know Yahtzee at all. Sure, I didn't even have the internet when PB was written! 🙂

I have been going through my bookmarks, trying to tidy them up, and in doing so I am finding A LOT of Bangel fic. So, I thought I might as well post some links here too.

Today I give you Bittersweet Legacy by Vatrixsta Cruden. I linked this before but link has long been dead and it is hard to come by this fic nowadays.

First off, it is very NC-17. So, if you aren't of age, ignore this post 😉

Second of all, it can be quite dark at times, but stay with it. It is SO good. Really.

Third of all, it is MASSIVE, so settle yourself down for A LOT of reading!

Well, there isn't a whole ton of action going on here! 😛 Betcha didn't know I was a Bangel! Anyhow, I've been subscribed to this Bangel story on Fanfiction.com for a while, and I thought that you guys might want to see it. The writing's okay, and it's still going on. Jus thought that I'd share!

Thanks for all the recomendations. I used to read Bangel fics all the time, I'll have to see if I can find some of my old favorites.
 
I haven't had a whole lot of time for reading fan fic lately but here is two links to a treasure trove of B/A goodies.

And here is Christmas Warriors. This was a lovely idea from Dark Star and you'll see a lot of familiar B/A faces contributing fic.

Most of the old B/A sites and links have been lost. You really need to dig to find the older stuff. If you are looking for anything in particular drop me a line, I may be able to help you out 🙂

Thanks Kean! I just (like, today) finished reading IWRY and then Christmas Warriors. There's so much there that it's an undertaking, but it's worth it.

Working my way through Project Paranormal now. Anyone here read that?

I know this is a long shot but I'm trying to find two fanfics that I read years ago. I've been searching through the websites but its going to take me ages 🙂

The first one is about the Trial's that Angel had to do for Darla but in this fic Buffy does the trials for Angel (or the other way around - my memories not that good 😛). The final trial is the end scene from Becoming but instead of Buffy sending Angel to hell its the other way around.

The second one is set in season 2 of Angel. Buffy goes to LA to try and save Angel from going all evil after he fires Cordy, Wes and Gunn and Darla comes back.

I know its a long shot but I thought Id ask 🙂

I don't think it is that one. That's about Buffy and Spike nursing Angel back from the brink of death.

I'm fairly certain I read the first one about 5 years ago; I can't for the life of me remember what site though.

If it helps, I can take these to a B/A specific site and ask if anyone knows these fics. You might have more luck there. 🙂
 
[MENTION=7585]Kean[/MENTION] - I admit, I could be wrong. I read BHB very long ago. I remember that Buffy gets a call from LA that Angel's in big trouble, and goes there to save him. I don't remember about Darla's return, but I could forget - I read it ages ago.

You could be right, it just always sticks in my head as being so strongly A/B/S that I never associate it with anything else.

Aww, thanks 🙂 That would be really helpful. I'm really gutted that I lost all my bangel fanfic links, but like you mentioned before most of the older sites have closed down now 🙁

I'll admit, it's NOTHING like a fanfic I'd have normally enjoyed reading; it's very AU, but Kean was right in saying what a wonderful fanfiction it is. I'd definitely recommend it for any B/A fan 🙂

To me, I think what makes me like Phoenix Burning so much, is that it a kind of fiction I truly like reading and have escaped into since I was a kid. Even without Buffy and Angel, I'd have enjoyed it.

That's the thing about PB, it's not just great fanfiction, it's great fiction. Period.
I don't know if you guys are familiar with it but a while ago (and that means like 5 or 6 years ago), I read a fanfiction. It was about Buffy having a double life. Everytime she went to sleep, she would wake up either in a life where Spike was her boyfriend, or where she was still with Angel. On the next-to-last chapter you could choose to either have a Bangel or Spuffy ending or neither...

The only thing is that I don't remember if it was in French of in English *shy*

Anyone ever heard of it??
