I just stumbled across this at Zap2it: Angel shows up to Buffy's prom.

Yay for Bangel romance! They are so often dragged down for their pain and suffering etc, etc, so I think this is worth celebrating!

One of my all-time fave moments. And DB in a tux. Hot damn.
Aw that made me smile to see and a good choice from them! It's a great moment and I still remember how my heart melted when I first saw that on TV (then broke a little to the tune of Wild Horses 🙂)

One of the sweetest moment..it makes me tear up every time I watch it...it's my avi, of course!!

I may or may not have done the Bangel dance of romantic superiority joy, when I read this a couple days ago 😀

BTW, shout out to Pace/Joey. Favourite romantic moment of all time. He bought her a wall.

Pacey/Joey yaaaaay! :D
AND she was actually giving something up for him. Angel wasn't exactly giving much up to go have a dance with her...

Well it was a lovely gesture on his behalf because he didn't have to show. Sometimes it's the little things that count oh so much.

I would have preferred to see Buffy offering Angel her blood to save him on the list. I found it much more poignant.

lol, cos that just oozes romance?! I think the other items on th list show that they were going for something else here.

He wasn't? Maybe he wasn't giving anything up, apart from his own sanity, but I doubt it was a walk in the park for either of them. Pretty safe to say it meant a fair deal to Buffy too, so I don't think its a small moment to be dismissed.

While The Bite was certainly sexier, Angel showed up at the Prom simply to make Buffy happy, because he felt she deserved it & he owed it to her. It was a simple, beautiful moment.

OK, I just looked at the link and realized it said "from Teen TV" which is why I know very little about any of those other shows & have never seen those moments LOL!

^Ha, I know most of them! 😛

You don't have to be a teenager to enjoy teen dramas. Right? RIGHT!?! 😛

The Pacey/Joey one is pretty epic. The OTH one is a bit lame, way more subtle things they could have gone for and no, I'm not JUST talking about Lucas/Peyton, before any of you say anything! 😉

Just checked the OTH moment. Come on Flan, that was pretty sweet. Teenage marriage aside.

What one would you have picked? I'm guessing the "It's you" State Championship confetti moment?

This was such a happy moment for me 🙂 I was so upset with Angel for breaking up with her right before prom! But then he did this for Buffy and I fell in love w him again

Yay for Bangel-ness.

lol, I do LOVE that moment but its kind of not subtle enough simply because of how much it was used in S5. I actually can't pick out one for LP...possibly Lucas coming home after he's finds out he's gonna be a daddy? But its usually all about the really subtle throwbacks I love about them.

Naley are super sweet but again it's more cheesy than romantic. I like their rain scene when he gets out all the clippings from her tour.

I'd actually say, even though my stomach JUST turned at the fact I'm going to say it, the whole BL 82 letters thing is pretty romantic. Urgh, little bit of sick, right there! 😉

Back to BA, though. What carr said is one of the reasons I love this scene and why its their most romantic. Buffy was actually gutted that he did it right before Prom and I love him for realising that and wanting to do something to fix it, just a little bit. The fact he knew that this one 'silly' high school moment meant so much to her, and was so alien to him, is so sweet. He wanted to give her a normal life but could also see that being at her Prom with her was a part of that.
