1. If you were Buffy, would you choose to date Angel?
- Probably yes. I'm a special girl, I have to have special guy 🙂
2. Would you still 'ship Bangel if Buffy wasn't the slayer?
- Well yeah, her being the slayer has nothing to do why I love Bangel.
3. How 'bout if Angel was never a vampire, just a broody guy?
- Probably, because I love deep, poetic and misteryous guys 🙂
4. Your favorite Bangel Season? Why?
- Season 2. It's beautiful. Their scenes together, and episodes they're in, some of them are not Bangel centric, but they still have Bangel power. Also, there is that whole metaphoric thing of guy turning bad which I totally like.
5. Would you have like for Buffy to join the cast of Ats? Why or why not?
- No. I just don't see her there. I like her with scoobies, and if I have to choose, I would like to see Angel again with them 😉
6. Do you believe that they will end up together in the end?
- I hope so, but only if they really feel it's the end, I want the best for them.
7. Do you want them to?
- Sure! More than anything.
8. Are you interested in any other Angel or Buffy centric couples?
- I liked Buffy only with Riley, but he's out of game, so no!
9. Do you like Bangel in AU?
- Don't read it.
10. Why do you love Bangel?
- Because they are the best form of true love. They really had everything, lost that, but they are still trying to get that back, by growing up.

Well as Kean said, I'm not Buffy so...Well in any case, no. Because of the curse, it's not worth it.

Well seen as Bangel is one of my 'Celebrating that ship' rather than my 'Hoping for the ship', I'll change this to would I have shipped Bangel if...? The answer is yes. Bangel was about the individuals involved and who they were, not what they were. Of course many may say that being a Slayer is part of who Buffy is and while that's partially true and while it's also true that the relationship (like all relationships) was partly down to circumstance, it became so much more than a relationship between a Slayer and a Vampire.

3. How 'bout if Angel was never a vampire, just a broody guy?

Well I kind of already answered this so...NEXT!

4. Your favorite Bangel Season? Why?

Season 2

5. Would you have like for Buffy to join the cast of Ats? Why or why not?

No. Because Buffy is a visionary leader on par with Angel, so having them both there something would have to give. I wouldn't want Angel to go back to letting Buffy be in charge and I wouldn't want Buffy to play second fiddle to Angel either, so heck no!

6. Do you believe that they will end up together in the end?

Not a clue. Sh*t happens. Love cannot always overcome circumstance, if that were the case Buffy and Angel would never have split up and certainly wouldn't have fallen in love with different people.

7. Do you want them to?

Not bothered.

8. Are you interested in any other Angel or Buffy centric couples?

Weslah, Spuffy, Xanya to a degree and I also liked Tillow.

9. Do you like Bangel in AU?

Oh god not the fluffy everything works out in the end ones. I much more about the overall story anyway than the 'ships.

10. Why do you love Bangel? (Details please, I'm thinking that everybody is going to have a slightly different perspective on this question, which is why I'm interested. 🙂 )


I DID love Bangel because it's epitomizes idealistic expectation. I honestly see the connection with these two visonaries. Even if it doesn't work out with them, it's important to note they were more or less present at each other initiation.

I do have that side to me, the hopeless romantic side I mean and Bangel simply feeds that.
 
Ok Bangels fans I would like to propose something...I just need you to think some Bangel moments ,not scenes, that make you go "awwww" :biggrin3: or "yeah go bangel" whatever!!! I need you to pick moments really, looks, single touch or a kiss not whole scenes.

Let me hear what you're thinking...I start with sth I noticed after I rewatched "Surprise"...As they are walking down the port and Angel turns his head, and kisses Buffy's hair. I LOVE THAT!
 
Oooh one of my absolute FAVORITE moments is when Buffy goes to see Angel at the end of Lover's Walk. He's sitting facing the wall and when she comes in he has the sweetest little smile on his face!! it just makes me melt 😀

Too bad the scene ended the way it did though 🙁

I love the scene in 'Earshot' when Buffy goes to try and read his thoughts and stares at his head, and he knows exactly what's she's trying to do straight away. It's scenes like that which remind me of the fact that Angel knows her better than anyone and I don't think it's something that has ever left him.

And, not a scene between them, but at the end of The Zeppo when someone (can't remember who) asks if Angel's okay and Buffy says he was only out for a minute but it was the longest minute of her life.

Angel. I would hate doing it and it would only be under the circumstances if all other plans had failed and I had no choice and it was the only way to save Dawn. A sister is family.

Again the claddah ring.

5. Did you hate Angel when he left?
No. Angel thought he was doing what was best for Buffy, but part of me wanted him to stay and fight alongside of Buffy. Of course Joss had other plans for Angel/David Boreanaz.

7.Favourite Bangel kiss
In IWRY when now human Angel kisses Buffy in broad daylight after his humanity has been restored. Something Buffy always wished they could do.

Buffy and Angel would meet that way with her kicking Angel and sending him rolling. Wait is there a problem miss? Buffy:"Yeah sure there's a problem."
 
I like the moment in Enemies where Buffy's chained to the wall and Angel's attending to her and has this tender look on his face that you can just tell he hasn't really turned.

As for me...

1. Probably not. 🙂 Like Willow, I'm not really a dater... And, just sayin', Angel is SO not my type. (Of course, neither is Spike, Riley, Xander, or pretty much any other guy on the show. (sw) )

2. Hm, I don't really think so. Why? Because it wouldn't be Bangel for me. It would be some other couple. IMO, part of Bangels appeal is the whole equally powerful Slayer and Vampire love story, and if Buffy was still that superficial brat, it just wouldn't be the same. 🙂 But who knows, it could have turned into some awesome Cangel-ific thing. 😀

3. Hm... Nah. Again, the whole Vamp-Slayer dynamic, and I like them as superheroes. 😀

4. Probably S1, it had this really adorable, sweet, mysterious, and funny thing about it that's oh-so-charming. 😀 The other seasons were fantastic as well, but you just gotta love the lack of drama and angst in that Season. (sw)

5. Nah, there's room for only one hot chick with super powers on Ats, and that's Cordy. (Once she gets demonified, anyway) Besides, Bangel wouldn't have lasted on the show, and Buffy would've ended up dying, just like every other female on the show. Still, it would've been nice to see a Cordy/Buffy 'ship. (sw)

6/7: Maybe, but I doubt it. Joss hates happily-ever-after. And I wouldn't want them to, I'd prefer the ending of her going out with the Core Four, the ones who have always been there, from the beginning to the end. I don't believe that anybody else should have the honor of going out with her. Besides, friendship love (and only friendship) is always stronger than romantic love. Always. 🙂

8: Yup, I'm a mega-shipper, I love... Cangel, Dangel, Spangel, Fuffy, Budelia, and others. 🙂

9. AU is freakin' amazing. 'Nuff said. 😀

1. I probably wouldn't because I am not into dating if I was the dating kind

2. I think I would as long as they still had their past as slayer/vampire.

3. As long as David played the part I would, because that is not totally what attracts me to Bangel that Angel is a vampire.

4. Definitely season 2. Even the parts where Angel is Angelus. Because you have some of the best Bangel moments in that season.

5. Angel could certainly use the help. Although I don't think Cordelia would like the idea too much.

7. Yes I would very much. Plus it would give us something new to discuss and another Bangel moment.

8.Not really unless it was Gunn and Fred again but they kind of got rid of that ship on angel.

9. Haven't read any.

10. Because it is an interesting combination where two people who should be enemies aren't and in fact love each other. Also the blonde and dark combination and because of David and Sarah's acting. but mostly because I fell in love with Bangel when Buffy sent Angel rolling on the ground. The whole exchange that followed was excellent.
 
Ok lately I have some Bangel thoughts in my head and I thought it would be nice to share them with ya fellow bangelers cause only you understand me!

it is more than obvious that Buffy always wants and loves Angel. I was watching the Yoko Factor yesterday...and I saw it...it was all there...I know she is with Riley and don't misunderstand me. The only other person Buffy(other than Angel) would be content( but not fully happy cause her heart is not there completely) I believe is Riley.

So, I saw that she raised her eyebrows and he followed. They don't speak...they communicate though. Something that Buffy has only with him. They talked and she got mad and she said sth which hit me: "you treated me like I was just your ex"(sth like that). Well, she IS his ex. Yet she believes and she knows that she is something MORE. And he of course knows that cause he came to Sunnydale just to APOLOGISE, despite the fact that the real bad behaviour came from Buffy in Sanctuary.

In Forever, two years after they "broke up" he is still there. He came again for her. And most importantly she KNOWS that he will come. And they sit under a tree, she confides in him like she always used to. It's like a day hasn't passed. And the passion and love is still there proven by the kiss and the spontaneous request " how's forever?".

And then comes s6...and suddenly the ONLY VAMPIRE that understands Buffy is...not ANGEL!!!:confused2:
Just because crossovers are not allowed and they decided to make an "adult" season...it still doesn't make sense to me.

Well, I believe that the main reason for Spuffy fans saying that Spike is the "Only vampire" that understands Buffy is because he's seen her dark side and her light side, and he's been more than just a lover/boyfriend to her... If that makes sense. 🙂 Like, Angel has never really seen Buffy at her ultimate low like Spike has. (And they couldn't have a crossover since Angel was busy being the star of his own show...)

But anyway, what are you guys all thinking about Buffy #34? :dramaqueen:
