This thread just kinda popped into my head, but I noticed a members user title was "banned" and it took me awhile to figure out that he/she/they were actually banned, and then I just wanted to ask...

What did these banned members do to get banned? Do you miss them? Do any of you still keep in contact with them?
 
I think I remember something about Magui. She was harrassing Cordelia... or maybe that was someone else.
I remember a topic with her email to Cordelia posted, to prove that she WASN'T cussing at our neighborhood mod.

And... wasn't that Willow-something just... NO IDEA.

There was that guy a while back. He came in and just started flaming everyone for like BtVS and AtS.
 
i wish it were f-squared...i was bascially a dock head that was just trying to cause trouble cause i was bored...i just stopped being a punk because yall killed me with your kindness...i remember when i begged to get banned...lol...how dramatic...

I do remember the last little bit of that...I was a real newbie then, and basically in lurk mode.

And SG, you've redeemed yourself many times over since then!

All the above aside, reasons for banning are covered quite well in the FAQ.

The specific reasons were never publicly posted, and they won't be. Any other discussion is purely speculation.

Banning is not something that we do lightly, we don't come on the boards and think 'you know what i'm going to ban someone today.'

The bannings that you mentioned happened a quite a while back now, and I think thats where they are best left. And as KD stated about we never posted saying that they were banned because it was between them and the staff.
 
Buffy-Boards is a better place because of the major decisions that the mods need to make about banning people.

I say that we all just appreciate what they do, and take care of the 'bad seeds' for us and leave it at that.
