Five rounds, 10 banners!


Challenge 1:

-Make a Giles banner
-Use more than 3 pictures
-Use a light texture
-Use 3 different brushes
-Use 2 colors, one light and one dark

Yippee! Should be fun! One question though, when you say a "light texture", are you talking about a texture composed of light rays or sparkes somehting, or do you mean a light-colored texture?

As for yours:

-Must have two screen caps; one of a character from buffy or angel, and the other of a character from dollhouse or firefly
-Have a quote from Buffy season 7
-At least two gradients
-The color white has to be a prominent color on the banner

Hopefully that's not too hard. I'm new at this. Anyway...Good luck!

Whoa..that sounds both awesome and scary cause I've never watched Firefly or Dollhouse (but at least there's Eliza in that one) and what do you mean gradients? Like colors?

Well, there a gradient tool in photoshop that adds like a range of colors to the work...and then you put the layer in overlay. But ya, just do colors then, not really such a difference.

No..that's ok..I will try and do gradients..if it turns out too difficult I'll tell ya...LOL

I did this and I hope it's okay...I used two gradients..one coming from below and one in the middle with orange..I hope there's enough white!!

Okay, here's mine...I'm not really sure if I did it right, but if I didn't, I can redo it. It was hard trying to fit three brushes in there, and I tried for the longest time to figure out how to make it just two colors, but I think it ended up well

-Must be a Willow/Xander romantic relationship banner (yuk, I know, but anyway)
-Purple text lol
-Must have one stock photo
-Must have only one texture

Thanks! And that sounds like a very interesting challenge..I'll get right on it. This is yours:

-The characters must be either sad or scared
-Use 3 characters..2 from Buffy and 1 from Angel (Not Angel or Spike)
-Use a quote from Lost season 1
-Use a light blue texture
-Include any saturation of any kind..LOL

No, there's absolutely not time limit..I do mine fast because I have a small amount of free time but you should take your time, no problem at all 🙂 And thanks for the banner...it was a change for me and I liked it.

Okay, here's my entry. THat was tough! Sorry I've taken awhile, I just have had a lot of other stuff going on. I think I respected everything; I lowered the saturation of the photos for the saturation part. I hope the texture is light blue enough.

And here's your next challenge:
-Spuffy banner (nahahaha)
-Black and white with one color
-Two rusty/metalic textures
-Have to use a cursive font

You did a GREAT job, I absolutely love the pictures you used! And don't worry, you respected everything and there's not a designed time to post banners so just take your time..your work is lovely. And..a Spuffy!! Ahh, you're getting mean...No, seriously..I wanna do it, I love trying new things..I'm off to think about ideas..I'll get it to you by tomorrow afternoon! Okay, here's my one.
Anya's happy, although Xander is sleeping, but it is still a Xanya banner, right? And the texture's are kinda hard to tell but I did use white and pink ones. Stock images are behind Anya; a butterfly and flowers. Hopefully I respected everything fine

-Must be centered around an "enemies" theme
-Have a color sceme of purple
-Quote from Angel season 4
-And no textures

Lovely challenge..I'll get right on it..I'm inspired. This is yours:

-A Bangel banner (I'm getting my revenge LOL)
-Use any lyrics from any Taylor Swift songs (yes, I'll make people do this at least once in a challenge if they battle against me ahahah)
-use three light colors
-no texture
-one heart brush

I hope it's not a problem that I put mine before you put yours, I just might not be able to get on here for a couple of days, so I wanted to do it when I had the chance. I use a heart brush, but it had quite a few hearts on the brush, I hope that;s alright. Hope you like it!
