Wow very nice entries. they all are so creative, and beautifuly constructed. It's gonna be a hard vote *sigh*
 
Great stuff everyone! (Except mine - now I'm looking at it compared to everyone elses it totally sucks!)

It was a tough challenge but I really enjoyed it, and I LOVED seeing all the entries so much this month!

Haha, I can definitely tell whose the majority of these are again. Some people (including myself) have such distinctive styles that it's kinda hard for these to be 'secret'!
 
So are last votes this Friday or will the results be up this week sometime? I'm pretty sure I know who the winner is anyway though! Can I get some dorm points for predicting the correct winner?

But Drogyn never wins art competitions, I guess we're just ahead of the times 😉

My money is on VH for the win this round...
 
I find it really interesting that most of the banners focus on the same scene from the same episode, and out of all of the entries only two different episodes are used, which are both in the first half (well, not even that) of a series of Angel.

As for who to vote for, I dunno yet!

That's kinda why I didn't enter this time. When I was watching the episode and going through the screencaps, I couldn't think of any other scene but that one, which I figured others would surely do as well. :/

Yeah that's why it made it hard to get inspiration. I wanted to do something different than anyone else's but I kept coming back to the same scene, 'cause I think that scene is just the entire point of the episode. This ghost is trying to make Cordelia feel like she's nothing, just a little piece of crap in L.A. and it helps her remember who she really is.
 
That's what I was hoping for with this competition.
Think it's very interesting and fun to see different approaches on the same scene.

Feel kinda bad that I failed to come up with anything myself though...

But that's kind of the point, to see everyones take on the same or at least a similar scene. To compare and contrast. 🙂

Exactly what I wanted to do with this competition. It came from HisMrs doing a banner with very similar screencaps to what I wanted to use. I love seeing different artists takes on the same subject matter. There's something very popart/modern art about it to me.
