Banner problems?

Okay, so I am having troubles getting my banner to stay put! It has just been since I've been using my smart phone a lot lately to access BB (I finally got arount to getting one) but for the last month or so, my banner keeps disappearing. I go into my User CP, and it's not showing in the preview, but the text is still in the box. I then go and save it, and it pops up, only to disappear later.....any thoughts or anyone else having problems?
 
I always thought your banner actually shows up when you use the web based verion of the site. Or when you use Safari from the iphone. Other than that, it posts "Posted via mobile device" *shrugs*
 
But the thing is it's not ONLY when I post from the mobile site, it's like after getting on BB from my phone, it disappears. Like I get on my regular computer, and it's gone till I go back in my User CP and save it again (even though the text is still there)...it's weird.
 
Randi, what pic hosting site do you use? I know tinypic can be problematic on certain browsers.
 
Umm....I use the one I got by right clicking on the banner Lyri made me and pasting it into my signature, and doing the same for the button Xaph made....I'm a tad bit lazy sometimes.


On the plus side, Lyri and Xaph makes beautiful banners!

Looks like they are all from photobucket, which is what I use when I'm not being lazy too.
 
Both would be photobucket then. They are usually reliable. Hmm *scratches head*

Here, send your sig over to me through PM, I'll see if it stays in my sig. Might narrow down the options of what's wrong.
 
Can you see my banner? I couldn't see it earlier today when I used the school computer, but I can always see it at home.
 
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that if you post from a Mobile device (using any mobile version of BB) your signature automatically doesn't show up. Maybe that's where the problem lies?
 
No kean said it's cause somehow an ip address is getting in my sig. And somehow that's making it disappear. I know I won't see it from my mobile device, but it's that other people can't see it either from their regular computers. And when I get on my regular computer, I can't see it anymore either. But then I go into my settings to edit it, and it's there. And I would think if it's a problem with the link, it would show the text at least but nothing is showing sometimes. I don't know. It's late and I'm sleepy though so I'm gonna try kean's fix tomorrow. If that doesn't work, i'll see if I can get some screen shots of what it is doing and post them.

I took the IP out of the address and it posted in my sig perfectly. Before that the images wouldn't show up for me either. I don't see why it wouldn't work for you if you did the same thing *fingers crossed*
