Banners And Signaters

I have been on a Buffy Forunm before, but not this one, this one is MUCH better than the last one, the people are SO nice here. Anyways, i have seen alot of people with Banners in their signatures, can i do this? And if so, how?

You make a banner, with PhotoShop or something, whatever you like, and then you upload it somewhere. Then you put this in your signature:

[*IMG]http://www.the-adress-of-your-banner.com[/IMG]

without the asterix offcourse! with the real URL of your banner!
