Displaying Images In Your Signature
To get a image like a banner showing in your signature you need to firstly make sure that your image is uploaded somewhere that you can link to it - why not try http://www.hostmysig.com/ where you can sign up for one of their free accounts specifically designed for the uploading & linking of banners - you get up to 2MB of storgage there.🙂

Next you need to put the following code around the url of your image - remember to take out the *s or your image won't work! Here's an example:-

[*img]http://www.uploadsite/yourname/coolbanner.jpg[*/img]


How to Centre Your Signature
If you wish to centre you image, then you need the following code at the beginning of your siganture and your end. Don't forget to take out the *s again. 😉 Here's an example:-

[*center][*img]http://www.uploadsite/yourname/coolbanner.jpg[*/img][*/center]


How to Make A Banner Link to Somewhere
You need to add the url of where you want your banner to link to, it works a little differently than the normal tags for url though. Here is an example of what to do:-

[*url=https://www.buffy-boards.com][*img]http://www.uploadsite/yourname/coolbanner.jpg[*/img][/*url]

The above would mean that you would be able to click on the banner and it would link to Buffy Boards. 🙂

hey everyone this thing that i'm sposed to type in neva comes up an 'x' does instead. can someone type it in with a n error but tel me wat the error is soo i correct it?
 
You just forgot to take out the *s in the img tags as per my instructions in my previous post. 😉 Anyways, I fixed it for you and it's working now. 😀

Have you tried contacting him? Maybe he has not been able to get online or has just been busy.

My offer still stands but I would rather know for definite that BuffyUker is unable to make you one before I make a start, I don't want to tread on his toes when you already asked him to make you one.

If you do get a reply from him, and you still want me to make one let me know - I normally get most banners made with 24/48 hours maximum. 🙂

Apologies for not having replied to this before now but I only just spotted it - my dad has terminal cancer and was has been really ill the last week or so and he got taken into a hospice yesterday so my time online has been somewhat more erratic than usual and I haven't had the time to catch up on everything that I would like to. 🙁

As I offered to make your banner before all this happened if BuffyUker was no longer making it, I'll still make it if you want me to.

You wanted a Buffy/Angel one right? Any more specific? Either PM me with more details of what you would like on it or you can email me webmaster@papermoon.5u.com. In the meantime I'll work on a couple today as I have some spare time until I visit my dad.🙂
