Now, honestly, folks, doesn't this

seem to be belittling to one of the most powerful officials in the world? Maybe it's all intended to be in fun, in fact I'm sure it is, but how can Obama meet and negotiate with foreign dignitaries, or even heads of industry right here in the United States knowing that at least SOME of them have had their research staff show this to them? The next thing you know, he'll be one of the guest speakers at the Comic-Con or some such.

(I will have to admit, though, Red Sarah is pretty hot)

Barack Obama's image has blessed everything from t-shirts to mugs to book covers and cup cakes, but the American president is now due to debut in a major comic series.

The Democrat leader will appear as Barack the Barbarian "destined to save the great republic of America and dethrone the overpaid despots of the time".

In the cartoon, the leader of Kickassistan takes on his Nemesis, former Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin, who sports a cape made from wolf skin and her trademark glasses - and very little else.

Chicago-based publishers Devil's Due asked readers to "Join Barack, Sorceress Hilaria, her demi-god trickster husband Biil, Overlord Boosh and Chainknee of the Elephant Kingdom. Who can the lone barbarian trust, if anyone?"

Mr Obama will also feature in another Devil's Due book, Drafted: One Hundred Days, in which he appears in Indiana Jones-style garb as a leader whose future is stunted "when a race from beyond the stars drafted our planet into intergalactic war".

Unlike the real-life politician known for his speech-giving talents, the cartoon character is mute.

To add my opinion to the mix. I think part of the job that comes with being a political figure is accepting that you are open to ridicule. While you may not be appreciative of it, it is the reality of the situation. Any good politician is met with this kind of mockery and political satire, not everyone likes it but everyone has to deal with it. I am sure that any foreign dignitaries would understand this because it is probably what they have to deal with themselves!
 
Sarah Palin is a ****.
Nobody cares what's in her backyard.
It was the only petty reason she had for becoming vice president.
She had nothing to offer.

This isn't a ranting topic, is it?

I don't understand what the problem is, can someone explain to me the specifics, and Obamas involvement with it.
