Alright, I couldn't bring myself to get into either the Buffy or Angel comics. I heard they got weird and I was too afraid of ruining my love of the shows. So, if someone would want to message me and give me a brief overview of what happened to the Angel crew after season 5 I will love you forever :]
 
I'm not too fond of them either. I've only read through issue 10 of the Buffy ones and I haven't read any of the Spike or Angel ones...

The army storming at Angel and his in NFA was just the beginning. After that, the partners plunged LA into hell. Where they turned Angel human, gave Connor all his memories even memories of being a baby and being with Cordy, they brought Wesley back as a ghost. Gunn was turned into a vampire, and the SP gave him access to visions, making him believe he was a saviour. All of this, in an attempt to once and for all turn Angel into one of theirs.

For those who aren't up to date, the next bit describes what happens in the latest comic.
Unfortunately W&H's plans didn't unfold exactly how they had hoped. As being in hell has somehow allowed Illyria to turn into her true self. Which in itself is bad enough, but she's also planning on ending existence.

That's where we're at right now, with only 3 more issues to go.
 
There are a lot of mysterious things happening. Especially, in the first five issues. After that things are slowly being revealed and the puzzle pieces start falling into place.
