Batsu vs Fuffy

Well I know I use to be a canon-freak. But as some people know I took a break recently, spent it with an old friend and she changed the way I looked at things. Now I couldn't get care less about canon, it's not worth the time to argue. But back on topic, the Batsu affair was not totally out of character, I think Buffy is the kind of girl who would experiment a bit. However Fuffy has a more interesting relationship, the way those two interact is just so intriguing, they're probably the reason I like the episode Bad Girls so much. And I don't care if it's canon or not but in my mind it is. I'd love to see a story arc just focusing on Fuffy taking it to the next level, forget Bangel Joss.

I vote for Fuffy. They always had this chemistry. I mean even as I watched them together I always thought that they would end up in a relationship. Obviously Joss made sure to let everyone know that the relationship between the two was not of the lovers kind. If Buffy were going to go in that direction, I think most would agree that it would have been with Faith. A lot similar to Spuffy, Fuffy would also have been a very love/hate-and then love again kind of relationship. Two strong females, in the same profession, both longing for the same kind of attention. It would have been a steamy romance in which I doubt anyone would have minded.

The whole Batsu thing was like a spurr of the moment relationship to me. It was like one day she is the same, lonely, Buffy and next thing you know she is sleeping with one of the slayers! I can understand why Joss did this, but I don't think it would have actually worked out (keep in mind i've only read up to #30 of s8, so I don't know what happens next and I don't wanna know until I get my hands on the other comics). I think that at this point, Buffy is willing to do anything to fill that void in her life. know what I mean?

I get what you mean, it's like she's alone and well trapped in a castle with pretty much only girls. When in Rome you know... she's only human, of course she has needs.

Exactly! It's a sorry excuse, but atm it was the only way out i guess

Don't count on Batsu being over yet. Scott Allie has strongly hinted that chapter isn't closed. There's still season 9...

Going with what AndrewCrossett said, Yeah I think we'll see more of Batsu in Season Nine and it'll be interesting to see how it all plays out

I agree, the Batsu relationship and its implications can't help but come up again, if not during the last few issues of Season 8, then almost certainly in Season 9. Exactly what the implications and repercussions of those two nights will eventually be provide just too much good story material, especially if you get Spike, Angel, or both involved.
