Anya has been well known for her...well...speeches, whether they be sexual or what-not, but I decided to pick two of probably the best Anya speeches, and pit them together in a bloodthirsty battle...ok...not that dramatic, but pick your favourite speech.
To help you decide, I have put both speech's below for you to choose from:

The Body 'I Dont Understand'
I don't understand how this all happens. How we go through this. I mean, I knew her, and then she's, there's just a body, and I don't understand why she just can't get back in it and not be dead anymore. It's stupid. It's mortal and stupid. And, and Xander's crying and not talking, and, and I was having fruit punch, and I thought, well, Joyce will never have any more fruit punch ever, and she'll never have eggs, or yawn or brush her hair, not ever, and no one will explain to me why.

Empty Places 'Humans Are Stupid'
And they have no purpose that unites them so they just drift around blundering through life until they die"¦ which they know is coming yet every single one of them is surprised when it happens to them. They're incapable of thinking about what they want beyond the moment. They kill each other, which is clearly insane"¦ and yet here's the thing. When it's something that really matters, they fight. I mean, they're lame morons for fighting but they do. They never"¦ they never quit. So I guess I will keep fighting, too.

I voted Empty Places, mainly because that speech, it makes me cry everytime, and it makes me all...tingly, and as strange as it sounds, really proud of her, because she's come such a long way.
 
Definitely a speech from 'The Body' ..It was really moving...Besides I know that some humans are stupid..Don't need a reminder😉
 
hummm really hard.. i go with the "all humans are stupid" but the other was pretty good too .she can always say the stuff that other wouldn't or don't have the guts..
 
Very true ana! lol!

Mire, its true, she's always the one who says something that the characters are thinking, but dont want to say it, and I think this reflects in The Body.
She's asking these totally inappropriate questions, that they are probably feeling theirselves, and thats why they snap at her.

Thats a great speech, but I went with Empty Places, because, mainly I think I didnt expect her to say something as moving as that in that situation!
I expected her to say something in The Body...as she was Anya...lol...''Ever the wordsmith''.
 
The words from Empty Places were much wiser, but the emotional load she gave to her speech in the Body, really makes that one stand out for me.
 
I chose the one from The Body, but my favourite Anya Speech of all time is the "It's unAmerican not to buy stuff", speech.
 
My favorite speech was most definately "The Body." Because to me it shows that she is finally developing and growing as far as human emotions go. She has felt happy,angry, lust, and greed. Now she is starting to realize why she had so much buisness as a vengence demon. Because humans are looking for any way posible to help the greeving. But this greeving can only be healed with time. And god how that speech made me cry. Why does it do it. I know that it is a tv show, and I am sure that you too realize this also. But yet it still effects our lives. To some, we are only moved when a certain charector is moved. But some others, we are sad when ever any thing sad happens, giddy for anything good... And pissed the **** off when one of the scoobs is wronged!
 
The Body.

Definately 'The Body'. OMG, I so miss Anya... I actually didn't like her in her first couple of appearences, but when they started devoloping her character, I fell in love with her. (Not in the Willow-sense.) My friends tease me because I am so much like her, but hey, I personally don't consider that a bad thing. Lol.

i would have to go with the body, i mean, it's the most dramatic episode and so well done, and that speech is done very well
i always liked anya for the fact that she didn't understand what the human world was like and what emotions were and why things happen they way they do
 
The speech in The Body was great. It was so touching. That is definately one of my favourite speeches.
 
I liked both speeches and even though the one in The Body is touching,i'm gonna go for Empty Places because it shows how much shes matured/grown
