The battle of the theme songs. Which show has the better song?

For me, its a toss up between Angel and Dollhouse. Buffy's is the one that gets me hyped whenever I hear it. Big nostalgia points for Buffy. Firefly's is the one everyone can sing along to, because its so goddamn catchy. Now, Angel? Im not the biggest fan of the show, but I'll admit I love the song. It perfectly sums up the redemption aspect, not to mention all the characteristics of Angel pretty good. Dark, brooding, and a beautiful song. But when I heard that magical "la, la, la, laaaa" on Dollhouse? I had to replay it again. And again. Then maybe one more time. Something about the Dollhouse theme song thats so ethreal and haunting, and it has the premise of the show wrapped around its fingers. The woman singing suggests beauty and seduction, but it's all a facade for the more sinister aspects boiling underneath it all. I pick Dollhouse. It's simply brilliant. What's your fave?
 
Firefly without a doubt. It sums up the essence of the show perfectly and is catchy as well, just what a good theme tune should be like.

I loved the Angel theme as well, thought it fitted the more mature tone of the show when compared with Buffy's theme tune. I've never watched Dollhouse so don't know what that one is like.
 
I went with the Angel theme, but I do love the Firefly theme as well

I'm with Lu... It was a hard choice between the "Firefly" theme and the BtVS theme for me, but eventually I voted for the BtVS because it's the one I like the best.
 
I love the BtVS theme song. Always puts me in a good mood. The Firefly one is great too, but I find I get sick of it if I am watching Firefly all at once. Love to sing a long though lol.
 
Love both Angel and BtVs themes, but I went with Angel.
 
Like Gem I think that the Buffy theme has some kind of quality that instantly puts me into a lovely Buffy mood and all my worries goes away (or something like that... 😉)

But I do prefer the Firefly theme as a song though, and I don't get tired of it when watching the show so in end I'll go with Firefly.

I gotta go with Buffy's theme! It's so easy to rock out to and it makes me giddy! Firefly would be second because it's just so emotional. Angel's theme song, I like, but I would skip over it most of the time. And I really dislike the Dollhouse theme.
 
It was a tough choice between Angel and Firefly but I went with Angel. I just love that song so much and it sets the mood for the show so perfectly. Beautifully

(I do really like the Dollhouse theme too but I've heard the entire song and it's just dreadful so it colors my opinion somewhat)

I love Dollhouse's and Angel's themes best too, but in the end, I choose Angel. Maybe because I play the cello, so it appeals to me more... The dark, noir-ness of it is cool. DH theme is awesome. I love the 'la la la's and the little tinkly tune right at the end.

I don't get the Firefly theme song love. I guess it's because I don't really like the style. BtVS theme song is great, but I always have to turn the volume down on my computer when it plays because the volume is so disproportionate to the actual dialogue of the show.
 
I really love all of them. Except Dollhouse. I love Buffy, Angel and Firefly's theme songs more than Dollhouse.
 
I'm with [MENTION=11693]Living Dead Boy[/MENTION]: I picked Angel, but also like the Dollhouse theme. I especially love the extended track of Sanctuary, which can be heard on the Live Fast, Die Never soundtrack. I love the Buffy theme because it's so quintessentially Buffy. I have to say that even though I'm a huge Firefly fan I'm not a huge fan of the theme. I like it, and I like it because it reminds me of Firefly. And I really dig the entire Firefly score. But in and of itself, it's not a huge favorite of mine.
 
I think the Firefly theme is average(yet catchy) and the Dollhouse one is really bad. So it's between BtVS and AtS for me... I used to love the Buffy one very much, but after listening to it countless times, it lost a little something that the Angel one never did(for me at least). 😉 The AtS one I enjoyed from the start and once I found the extended version on youtube, it was on my ipod for good! Really good song, fitting with the show and it's haunting.
