I'll look into the thread placement thing.
We're agreed so, on the Earth talky thing? lol
Ok with you, CF?
In fairness, CF and everyone else have now been warned - I say we go for it!

Going!
I frakking HATE! what they did with the Earth storyline. I was so excited and sucked in by it and the prospects it presented and then for it to be a bust! It has put a dark cloud on Season 4 for me so far, maybe it was supposed to but I really don't like it.
I'll be honest, I was a little annoyed when it aired, but what I suggest is that you watch the rest of the show.
Not everything is as it seems.

Ohhh and the Dualla storyline upset me, I loved her!
I'll trust you on that but I still feel cheated.
Is the Dualla thing ever explained? I wasn't too crazy about Lee's venture into politics either but I'll let that slide.
What did you think of the Final Five?
I really want to say something but its a tremendous spoiler!
I'm gonna put it in spoiler tags - you decide to read it or not!
'Earth' isn't our Earth, its older than ours and they just named this planet Earth. By the end of the season they find our planet, which is 150,000 years ago from our perspective and Hera is 'Eve' that was recently discovered.
I think the Dualla story is ended with her death, I just think that she felt there was no reason to continue, because their 'quest' was to find Earth and now thats ended in the worst way possible.
Initially I wasn't keen on Tory or Anders as members of the final five, but I adore the other three BUT Tory and Anders grown on me in the end.
I guessed the Earth thing after you said all is not what it seemed. Not sure how I feel about Hera..although the more I think about it the more it makes perfect sense.
That's shite! Very articulate of me, I know but still. I suppose she was completely content but surely she had reason to keep going. 🙁 Iloved her too.
Tory I plain don't like but Anders I warmed to too. I love his play with Starbuck.
I kinda like the Hera stuff. I was starting to get a little concerned about how they planned to work her story being that she had been so important since Helo and Athena got pregnant.
I don't think she was content I think she simply gave in, which is out of character in my opinion.
I wish she had stayed - though someone had to die and if its between her and Gaeta then I pick her because I love Gaeta a bit more.
You are gonna LOVE the final scene with Tory then!
Anders I loved him when we first met him, then I got a bit bored of him mooning over Starbuck, then he was 'outed' and it took a while (though thats because Tigh and Tyrol were getting my attention more) but by the end of the season, his character is awesome.
I seriously need to finish it so we can have a noholds barred chat!
The Tory thing, does Tyrol get revenge?
Did you see the one of them on the bikes?
Sackhoff looks deeply uncomfortable lol
I did - I was looking through alot of pictures!
So, wanna discuss more BSG?
Something in season 3 annoys me.
When Tyrol starts a strike near the end of the season because everyone on the fuel refining ship is doing the work.
I have no issue with the strikers, my issue is why it didn't occur to the President earlier on in the show that this job, because its important to the fleet (along with a few other jobs) should have had everyone doing it, and the minute there was signs of the strike, she should have said 'Yes, actually, it is too much pressure to place on such a small group of people'.
It seemed they were going that way with the 'Water' episode in season 1 yet it still took 2 years to do something about it!
I feel like Roslin was starting to become to fond of being right at this stage. It felt like the simple fact that she was President was enough for her, or maybe she really saw herself as some sort of deity too, with the visions and all that.
It also seemed like the fleet, to Roslin, only really consisted of Galactica and Colonial One. Everything outside of that seemed trivial and not worth her full attention.
I'm very biased though because I liked Roslin less and less as the show went on.
Which is odd because the longer the show went on, the more I liked her!
I did get a bit bored with her being the religious prophet, but I felt they toned that down when they turned Gaius into Jesus Christ and I adored her relationship with Adama.
Kean agrees: You're like the Thread Collector or the Thread Whisperer or something!
I have just one thing to ask about BSG...can someone tell me how the very last scene of the finale ended please? My recording cut off just before the end...a matter of seconds I suspect 🙂 A truly brilliant show in most respects and I'm sorry it's over.
BTW - if it came to a choice between Gaeta and the lovely Dee...bye-bye G 😉 I was devastated when she committed suicide...she's up there with Mylene Klass as far as I'm concerned...or Samantha Janus 🙂
