Battlestar Galactica New

I got the Season 1 set for Christmas, but have only seen a couple of episodes so far. From what I've seen, it's pretty good, and they didn't make the mistake of following the original series too closely. I knew in advance that Starbuck was a woman in this version, so that wasn't much of a shock. I'm not a tremendous fan as of yet, but it beats watching reruns of "The Prince of Bel Aire" and "The King of Queens."

I watched episodes and trailers from season 3 and took an instant dislike to it.

I then was forced to watch the Miniseries and Season One and actually quite liked it.

The first disk of season 1 is VERY bleak but it gets a bit brighter.
 
I've watched all of the new BSG apart from the episodes that are going to be broadcast some time this year.

The whole show is great - I can't fault it -- it's way better than the original - except for Starbuck being a girl!!!!

Apart from that little inconvience, my favourite character has to be Saul Tigh played by Michael Hogan.
 
I´ve catched up on most things BSG as long as we´re talking he new series, but I might have missed a movie depending on how many there are. I´m not totally loving the show. It goes up and down but the latest episodes I went through as fast as possible and I´m definitely gonna watch the last 10 episodes. Not sure how spoilery one can be so I´ll leave that all together. Favourite character? Six and Athena.
 
I love this show, I have the soundtracks, and as for my Fave Character thats a hard one! I love them all in there own ways even Thai who annoys me. Yet its a draw between The Chief, Caprica, Starbuck and Gaius.

I like The chief partly because of the way he reacts to things, I have pity for him I really do.


Caprica because shes is devoted to Gaius and her mission . She is always there .


Starbuck mainly because she is so messed up, she has so much character development that I cannot wait to see what happens next. Hooked !


Gauis because he is insane, he trusts this woman who blew up earth who is a skin job ! But he loves her and love makes you do the crazy. Hes has alot to do with the series and he interesting to watch.
 
I like the show quite a bit but there's been such long breaks between the seasons that I have a hard time telling the cylon copies from eachother! Like... what's the difference between Athena and Boomer. 😛

Oh, the last episodes start airing tomorrow! There's supposed to be another movie after them too.
 
Everyone should watch "catch the frak up" before it starts

yeah its the same as "what the frak is going on?" for like 8mins of it but it recaps the first hald of season 4 as well.... and must be viewed several times as you'll LYAO over lines

Really watch the catch ups...
 
I love the new Battlestar Galactica. My favourite is Gaius Baltar and least i liked Starbuck along with President. Also Saul Tigh and old man Adama are among my favourites 🙂 Of female Caprica 6 and Athena, 3 i dislike. Overall favorite Cylon beside specific 6 (Caprica) and 8 (Athena) is brother Cavil 😛

Dying to see how the story continues, i hope no more starbuck BS 🙂
 
Just watch season 1 to 3. I liked it. Didn't get the wow, I want to watch it all over again right now feeling but it was really good.

Haven't seen the original series. So I can't compare. To be honest I'm not really interested of it either.

I have huge soft spot for Sharon. But I guess I find Kara Thrace most interesting.
And Admiral Adama is great. He is not to be messed with 🙂

Looking forward to season 4. I will see it when comes on DVD.

I love Tyrol, he's been my favourite character right from the begining. I felt so sad for him in the season 3 finale 🙁
Season 4 starts back on Tuesday for UK.
