After much deliberation and consideration in the staff forum we have come up with shortlists of nominees for the BB awards. Apologies if anyone you nominated is not included but the amount of nominations would've meant that the award polls would have been too large and unwieldy. The shortlists are therefore made up from the members who received most nominations in each category.

If any of the nominees does not wish to take part in the awards please let me know - either in this thread or by PM. I'll give you a couple of days to think about it and then it will be voting time (obviously the nominees for the Doyle award for most missed member probably won't let me know 🙂).

BTW - when I get round to posting the polls I will try to provide links to stories, art, funny threads etc. where possible in order to facilitate your voting decisions 🙂
 
I feel really rotten now, but I'ma have to eliminate myself from the Faith and Giles awards.
Its not because I don't think i'd win(come on...its already a cert) but I won't be here for the ceremony(unless its held before 23rd of Feb OR after June 1st-reasons will be made clear later by my trusted friend Lyri) and in my personal opinon, if you can't make the awards shows, you shouldn't win the award...
Thank everyone that nominated me, and i'm truly sorry to the people 'in the know' but i've sent a PM explaining to Mr P, why and when he reads it, i'm sure he'll understand.

Again, thank you all and you still, at least, get my votes🙂

BotD - thanks for letting me know straight away. I understand and appreciate the reasons for your decision, which will become apparent to the members when you decide to make them public. Consider yourself withdrawn and good luck with your project...

If I could hunt you down and give you all a wet sloppy kiss...I would. Then followed by a restraining order I'm sure! LOL....And thanks to N4H and Buffy for the time and effort that goes into these awards every year. You guys rock!

GASP! OMG...Just shoot me now...Seriously! How in gods creation did I NOT mention Mr. P....Pointy, I do sincerely appologize. I am So not worthy....I think thats good for about a dozen lashes, possibly more. You know we all love you for all the hard work you put into this board...And I again, I'm willing to take punishment for my actions....😉

(EDIT: hey, i got nominated twice! i didnt see that! thanks to whoever nominated me for that! which i wish i knew what that one meant...:silly🙂 and congrats to all the other nominees too! 😀 and i know it figures id be the first to ask a stupid question about something i dont remember, but what do all the awards mean? i mean, i know doyle is missed member, and stuff like storyteller is self-explanatory, but i cant remember what some of them are :blush:.
