BB changes...and Zanders thoughts

I couldn't help thinking this, and figured I might make it a thread just to get some feedback. BUT you ppl may have already went through this....

roughly 6 months ago, the Buffy Boards seemed to...pretty much 'die'.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but hardly anyone was posting, alot of the post were repetative, and I saw alot of 'half answers'.

Naturally, (dispite my best efforts, and I hate to say this), I lost intrest in the BB...

BUT I couldn't stop thinking of you people.
everytime I heard the song 'White Flag', I would remember our good times.

I remember this one time, Chasity, Spanky (rene), Magui, and I were all posting at once, then one of the mods came in and gave us hell for it! made me laugh so hard...

and reading all your signatures, talking to you all, finding out your opinions on Buffy/Angel....kinda got me missing the BB, so I come back, and you know what I find?

JOY!!! I find the forums have under gone a make over, I find we have many new members who I already like, I find most of the threads thriving, I find all of you joking around, and helping to keep the Buffy-Boards alive. So too all the people who have been here since the beginning...I salute you! Good Job, and glad to be back with all of you.

and know what else? I realize that I kinda 'ventured off topic' of my orignal question, which is: 'anyone notice a decrease in the fun a few months back, and now realize this has to be the best Buffy/Angel boards online?'

could just be me, but I think this site deserves #1 in all rankings!
 
I don't think I ever noticed a decrease in fun. I came in October and I think that was right around the time you left. But now that I come to think of it, on the average day, when you looked at who was signed in, you'd only see like 4 people. So, I think the board has changed a lot since I first came here.
 
This board has always been great. I really didnt notice a decrease in posts 6 months ago, but maybe it was because of school and everything starting up again for most people. I dont know.
 
This boards were, are and always will be the number 1 on my list 😀
 
Hmm, I'm kinda still newby in here, I mean, I donno this place for so many month, but I like it, topic are mostly interesting & great, ppl know to be serious & funny at the good moments, & there are so crazy thread that I really loooooooooove :: tu ::
Just hope that the ones who are talked about in Roll Call will come back soon !
 
I've joined in the middle of September..There was a time where I haven't seen many new posts,but now everything's back to normal=best Buffy and Angel forun in the whole world...
 
I noticed it went down a little but i'm more of a lurker than a poster, even though gradually that is changing, gotta get my confidence level up! But I always have a laugh, you guys crack me up on a daily basis.

I'm glad you have come back and are thrilled to see the BB thriving with the words and enjoyment of all of our participants! 😀

There are definitly many newbies amoung the crowd since you have left but most have settled right in and have made me feel like they have been here since I joined! 🙂 There are times when the BB seems to slow a little BUT then there will be more action again. It's always enough to keep me posting...I suppose it just depends which area you are intereted in and what you are looking to post on!
 
I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one, around the time you are talking about I never noticed a slump in posting, and the amount of activity on the boards is something that i'm always looking at as part of my job here.
 
Guess it is just me then. Oh well its great to be back, but I probobly wont be as active as I was before I left.
Got nothing much more to say about this, but I did get better replies then I thought. I half expected like all of BB to pounce on me for saying that.
and before you ask why, I base it on the fact that everytime I say anything bad about Spike, I have all the 'Spike/Spuffy' fans cursing me. lol.

Oh well, just wanted to see what you all thought...heres another thread for the cemetary.

I noticed, i didn't even come on for 2 months because i was too ill, and when i did it seemed a little quieter than usual, but maybe it was just that week or place i was posting in or something.
