Here's a new thread to discuss any plans to meet up inAmerica in 2012. Please be sure to be safe whatever you choose to do (I know this is common sense) and if you do meet up have a great time 😀
 
Well it looks like New York won as the meetup place (which is good for me 😀)
But when is this meetup planned to happen?

I thought that was for the 2011 meetup... shouldn't there now be a new vote for 2012?
 
I would rather it be out west. That just means I don't have to travel for becaus3e I have no monies. 🙁

But that's up to the vote I suppose. 🙂
 
We could always plan more than one meet up in different locations so that more people could attend.

What locations would work for people?
 
Anyone else planning on going to Dragon*Con this year in Atlanta? That would work best for me because I know I'll be able to get off work. It's labor day weekend though which may be a problem for some.
 
Anywhere that's on the East side of things. Venturing out to the West will make my poor pockets hurt. They've been through enough already. 🙁 😛

I would love to meet all you Americans, but it's doubtful I will unless I see you when I'm in Chicago in August!

For the Chicago Con? I was considering going to it but am waiting for more guests to be announced for Dragon*Con before deciding which to go to. 🙂

If it's happening this summer...which I doubt because that is such short notice haha I would actually be able to make it if it happened in NY cause I'm going this summer! Whooo hooo!! And of course the west coast will always work for me 🙂. That is, until I run away to New York in approx 2 years 😉.
 
Ok well I know this thread kind of died but I'll mention it anyways. I just bought my tickets for Dragon*Con so if anyone else will be in ATL during labor day weekend, I might see you there! 😀
 
Just a good place to make a quick shout out to all the American BBers. I have booked and paid for my holiday to America. I'm going to be in New York, Boston, Washington and Chicago throughout the month of February 2013. If any of you want to take an Aussie out for a drink or coffee then hit me up - would love to meet some of you!

Yeah, as Visiongirl can attest, I'm hard enough to pull away from my little city here, even if its just a two hour hike up the turnpike! I've got a job, kid, husband (aka other kid), dogs, grad school, and law school now. I use that as my excuse for never having any time.

On second thought, I need a vacation.
