Isn't the London Eye really expensive? What about a Buffy themed picnic in Hyde Park? that's pretty cheap to do!

Oh will the Olympics be over by then? As I expect things will be more expensive and harder to book, trains/buses etc

I probably wouldn't be able to go because of work, I've already booked a load of time off for August for a holiday.

Would September not be better then for people? The Olympics will be well over, the summer hols will be over so anyone looking at flying to the UK should be able to get cheaper flights and anyone wanting to stay for the weekend should be able to find a cheaper hotel.

I have no idea where I'll be later this year when I'm done with my Master's, but potentially I'd be up for joining. We did have a nice time at the 2009 meet-up 😀
