So shall we settle it then for the weekend of President's Day? Seems like a good choice as it gives everyone an extra free day, plus nobody really has expressed any strong objections so far.

So if this totally doesn't work for you, say it NOW. If we want this thing to work we need to start planning, so it's reasonable to settle a date now already so everyone can plan ahead.

Shouldn't the age thing just sort itself out? I mean... younger people aren't going to be able to travel very far.. right? And what kind of age limit are you thinking? I just don't know if one would be necessary.

Intuitively I'd say generally make this 16+ and allow younger people if under parental guidance or something.
The thing is, I'm not sure if the American legal system gives restrictions there, but I'm pretty sure in Germany you could get in trouble for letting minors (at least younger than 16) participate in these things just like that. Even more if we consider making this an overnight thing (which might be rational considering the hypothetical travelling far.
Also, if people are too young, we can't really go anywhere in the evening, right?

Right. 16 is a fair age in my opinion. They still wouldn't be able to go out with us if we went out at night... But I don't think it would be fair to say 18... seems a bit like 16 and 17 year olds should be able to come...

Im up for whatever age parents will allow but I do want to point out that its a lot harder to get around if youre under 18. You cant rent a car or a hotel. If we end up going to a bar or club, in my area, most places wont let you in until youre 21.

I am satisfied with talking with you all online and so don't feel the need to meet you IRL. Besides I have a rule that I set up for myself not to meet anyone offline that I chat with online with the exception of people I know in my personal life. Hope this doesn't come off as unfriendly, I would rather be safe than sorry. If you all are in share mode after it takes place I would be interested in hearing all about it online here at the BB after it takes place.

GREAT NEWS, FOLKS!!! Talk about fortuitous fortunes! I just got an Email from a lady whose deceased husband was the treasurer of some little African country that I've never heard of, but apparently they've heard of me and how honest that I am. Anyhow, the gist of the email was that the lady's husband managed to escape from the country just before the rebels took over, and he has the account codes for their entire government treasury, luckily stored in Swiss bank accounts. Sadly, the guy was kinda old, and all of the excitement was too much for him. Now the Widow's got the account codes, but no way to access the money directly. Now, here's the fantastic part.

All that I have to do is send her my bank account number, and she can transfer the entire $186,000,000 to my account, and I get a 10% fee just for letting her do it! With 18.6 million dollars, I can afford to pay everyone's total expenses to wherever we decide to go, plus maybe even hire a couple of the show alumni to be on hand for the occasion.

So y'all just pick a time and place, cause the Avenger's gonna charter a jet. All expenses on me, and free Adopt-A-Bangel tee shirts for everybody.

And they say miracles don't happen anymore.
