@Kean... did you stay there? In all this hubbub about geography I forgot if you said you stayed there. Did you also say that you would not go back to Boston?
 
No it isn't lol. It's not in Maryland at all. If it was anywhere but Washington, it would be Virginia 😉

Ok, so... At the risk of sounding bossy/OCD, If we're seriously going to plan this we need to:
*Pick a city.
*Pick a date.
*Pick a venue.

This way people can make travel plans if they want to come. Money is always an issue for my family, but I would LOVE to come if we do this, so we need to seriously decide these things if this is a serious discussion about having a meet-up.
 
Yes, please! We should put together our own little Whedonesque event... make our own awesomeness, ya know? Who needs Dragon*Con and Hallowhedon, etc (I still need those, PS) when you have psychotic fans like us to make our own fun?

Also, being married = being broke. D: ...but perhaps if it were planned enough in advance...

Yeah, I stayed there for 3 days. It was perfect. Right in the heart of the city, subway just down the street. Immaculately clean. Couldn't ask for more.

I highly doubt I said that about Boston. I love the place. I may not get back to the states for awhile but Boston and NYC will be amongst my first stops when I do.

Ah, then it must have been just that one incident. I remember you saying something about something that is immaterial. Did you like Times Square? I wish I would have been there in the 80's/90's before Rudy cleaned it up. It just seemed so.... I dunno... antiseptic.

If it were planned enough in advance, I could come. But I have to know exactly when and where so I can make travel arrangements and find a babysitter.
I'm down for NYC. I LOVE that city, and have wanted to go back for a while now. But I also do think that having it somewhere in the middle of the country might be better for those who live in the US and might want to come.
 
I have to know way in advance too. NYC would work really great for me because my grandfather can get me a place to stay and I can get up pretty easily...
 
If this happens I really hope its in NYC as thats where I live lol 😀
But I hope its at least on the east coast. I dont think I could get anywhere else.

Hey now, what's so bad about Kansas or Iowa?! Not that I'm from there, but it's closer. If it does wind up on the east coast and enough of us more westerners can't go, we could have our own BB meetup somewhere else!:tongue3:

Seriously, though, what exactly would this entail? I mean, what would we do?

Can't say I've ever been to one, for obvious reasons. 😛 But I would think that you all would meet up at a public place (mall or restaurant?) and hang out, get some food, maybe go shopping? 😛

And, not that I'm going, but NYC seems a bit far for the USAers. I live in NY myself- But eight hours away from NYC. 😉 I can only imagine how far it must be for some other people!
