BB members that look or sound like celebs.

Howdy-do, neighbors.

Indulge me in a random thread if you will, just for the fun of it. 😛

Over the years I notice that there are many among the membership here who either look or sound like some old/recent celebs or someone in the public eye.

Back in the day we've had such members such as former Moderator extraordinaire Mr. Pointy, who looks exactly like the late actor Donald Pleasance.

We had a gal who resembled 1980's pin-up model and pop star Samantha Fox.

There were also three young ladies who resembled Neve Campbell, Kristin Kruek and Jennifer Love Hewitt, respectively.

Myself, I have been often told that I resemble former New York Knicks guard John Starks.

And in recent times, in the soundalike category I have noticed that our beloved kittenpoker sounds exactly like Sarah Michelle Gellar!

And then we have Tome, who almost reminds me of actor Jason Statham (he's gonna kill me 😛)

Harley...if she were a blond...would sort of look like actress Ashley Benson....and sometimes Shailene Woodley.


I dunno.....but I just think that's pretty fun and interesting to me. Lol.


I know there have to be others out there among you who sound or look like somebody. Reveal thyselves! (No photos, though!) 😛

Amber Tamblyn. I told a while ago that I looked like Amber Tamblyn. Tom, KJ and Alie could see it too. (That I kind of look like Amber Tamblyn) 😀 I'll take it as a compliment/ as a good thing because she is pretty.

Look wise, people haven't really compared me to anybody, (and that's good, I want to be one of a kind 😉) but sound wise, more than one person stated that I sound like Anthony Kiedis. Which is ironic, considering he's such an inspiration to me.

I've been told I look like Alyson Hannigan, but more Lily than Willow, especially when I had bangs. Haha, I get way to excited when people say that, especially if they don't know I'm a Buffy fan. 😀

A few years ago, there was a woman that came into my work and every time she did, she'd come over and tell me the same thing "OMG! I can never get over how much you look like Charlotte Church! You could be her double!" I never really knew quite what to say :S Errrr.....thanks??? lol Noone else I knew really saw it :S lol

Since no-one has ever told me I look like anyone famous, I put a pic of myself into one of of those celeb-look-a-like sites. I got Richard Dreyfuss and Bruce Willis at both over 60% They are both over 20 years older than me, but I'll take it 🙂

Just for giggles I put a pic of George Clooney in and George Clooney wasn't on this list of people he looks like 😱

Yes! I get a few, but the one I get most often is Mary Louise Parker-- I've been told that some pictures of her could easily be pictures of me. On the other hand we're not exactly twins! I know none of you have seen me so it'd be difficult to agree or disagree with this. 😉

Personally I don't think I looked much like me last year but now I'm back on track (hair color can change a lot)


As for celebs my mom thinks I look like Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, my nephew thinks it's me when he sees photo's of Britney Spears in sunglasses, This Year's Girl gives her vote to Eliza Dushku obviously 😉 and a few friends of mine have said Angelina Jolie which personally (I realize this is meant as a compliment) I think is insulting cause I don't like how she looks.

I'm not sure I find any resemblance between me and a celebrity though. But I'm more or less a clone of my mother. 🙂
