I found this whilst browsing round the BBC web site -
Get Writing

Looks like an interesting place for all you prospective authors to check out. There are online writing courses, hints and advice from professionals and a space for posting your work where others can comment and offer criticism. Seems to be a pretty good resource for all the fickers 🙂 It looks like you will get the best out of it if you register with BBCi (free btw, and gives access to other BBC stuff like message boards and chat) See what you think...

yeah I post my stuff - strictly original fiction at that site.

If anyone does join I'm -Jaded- over there - have a look at my stuff if you like. I'm also a member of the head-to-toe writing group.

If you do join I strongly recommend joining a group, it makes the whole site seem smaller and friendlier - everyone's perfectly nice, but it just gives you that extra sense of belonging.

The board moves at the pace of a lazy sunday afternoon spent reading a book - it's lovely!

see you there!

Had a quick look round - you have some good stories posted there hon
NOTE: the site has now closed, stupid bbc! I loved that place. Why oh why?

bbc!

Well anyway, most of the people from that site have moved to www.writersdock.co.uk - I'm Jaded there as well.

Or there's another site for original fiction at www.fictionpress.com - I'm Filigree there, it's a massive place most names are already taken. Good site though, not so friendly really, not a message board place more just posting stories and reviewing.

Hope to see people there, if you do join post what penname you're under and at what site and i'll have a look at your sfuff. : pbounce:

Stupid bbc!

I got one story up on fictionpress but most of my stuff is on fanfiction.net.

BFG on fanfiction.net and BFG4 on fictionpress for some reason ::nono::

i'll have a look. Fanfiction.net is great for fanfiction fairly obviously but for original fiction which is what the bbc writing page was for the other two are better.

I'm finding fictionpress better than writersdock despite writersdock being created with people from the bbc site in mind. However WD is more of a community.

So I say join both! 😀

I know that Tanited Hope posts at fictionpress and I'm sure she wont mind me saying she's Lexi xxx there.

hope to see more people there.
