Those of you who don't belong to the mighty house of Drogyn are probably not aware that there was a small BB meet-up a couple of weeks ago in Dallas, Texas. StuckinTraffic very kindly offered to host the Pointys for an evening while we were passing through on our tour of Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.

SiT took us out for a lovely meal along with her very nice friend Lynett. Here is the pictorial evidence 🙂

Photo 02 is of (from left to right) me, Mrs P and SiT in the bar of our hotel, the Westin City Center, Dallas.
Photos 03 and 04 were taken in the Cuba Libre restaurant (highly recommended btw) and show me, Mrs P, Lynett and SiT

Thanks again to SiT and Lynett for a great evening out 🙂

It was arranged in Drogyn when I mentioned our holiday plans for this year...see what happens when you belong to the best house on the BB 😉

If ever we pass that way again I'll be sure to let you know.

BTW - the camera was SiT's and she'd only just bought it...I suspect she hadn't switched off the "add 20lbs to all male subjects" setting, which is why I look pretty chubby compared to those annoyingly thin ladies...then again, it may be time for me to diet 😉

No, that setting can't be turned off, it has something to do with microchip technology. I've been noticing it for years. the smaller the cameras get, the bigger I seem to get. It seems to work just the opposite on hair, for some reason...

Ahhhh, my "Meet the Pointys" odyssey! What a great time we had! I'd LOVE to see you both again if you're ever in my neighborhood, without the annoying side trip through downtown construction zones, LOL. What's funny is that when Lynnett and I were leaving to go home, we took a different route and skipped ALL of the mess! We'd have been at the restaurant a full 15 minutes before our reservation! Live and learn, right?

The Pointys were wonderful guests! I HIGHLY recommend to all BB'ers, if you have the chance to meet them, don't hesitate. Do whatever you have to to make it happen! They were SO fun!!

Very cool. I'm heading to Texas in sept. There are many BB members there. Texas is pretty cool...so I hear.

When I get time off from my internship (I start in one week!!!) and work. I'll prob be down that way by lake Texoma couple times this summer, I've got family down there. Plus lake + sun+ fish = happy sunburnt randiann eating freshly caught striper. YUMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!

So yeah, the Texas side of Lake Texoma is probably about as far as I'll venture into Texas this summer, unless I just get an itchin for a road trip.

Yay Mr. P for getting to meet up with her! 🙂 I'm jealous! You're totally coming to visit ME next right? You wouldn't DREAM of going anywhere else! Come on it's very purty up here (or down here for you! lol) Glad you guys had a nice time!

^Ah, see. I should have been on BB when I still lived up in NY. It's much closer to Canada.

SiT, will let you know when I head down that way. Hopefully, as I have a new baby cousin down there it will be soon, just gotta get the time off! I just found out today that with my work and my internship schedule, I will get no days off a week until I finish at the end of July. Boo.
