This year I have to go down my beach house from August 7th to August 21st. But, I don't wanna go!!! ::grabs onto someone's legs:: I really dislike going down there. There's so many things I could tell you that I don't like the beach it would keep you reading for hours. I know you must think I'm insane because you'd think, "Who'd be miserable at the beach?" That's just the way I am. I'm a very social person. If I'm not out with my friends than I'm on the phone, my cell phone or online talking to them. I even talk on my phone when I'm in the shower. So, I have to be cut off from everyone for two weeks is going to be the end of the world. If you see a reign of fire, do not fear; it's just me.
There's going to be so many people going in and out of the house I feel like I'm going to be a circus side show act. I hate doing that whole, "Oh! Hi! How are you?! Let's talk for hours about your dull life!" thing with people. I think the house is to small for so many people anyway. It's a beach front condo, but it's still kinda small. The first floor is the garage/drive way. So you park under the house. Then there are stairs on both sides of the house leading up to the second story, which is the actual house. It has a kitchen, one bathroom, 3 bedrooms, a living room and a dining room. I'm going to have Aunt Patty, Uncle Rick, Danny, Jan ::cringes::, John, Aunt Cathy, Uncle Frank, Nick, Stephanie, Megan and I. The last three people who are coming I'm happy with because they're my boyfriend, best friend and favorite cousin.
I kinda wanted the four of us to be alone. Well, not alone alone, but to have as much freedom and space around the house as possible. With 3 bedrooms and 12 people cramming in and out of the place will not work to well. And, everyone over the age of 30 goes to bed at 10:30. Does anyone actually think teenangers [Danny (16), Megan (16), Stephanie (15), Nick (16), and I (16)] will be going to sleep at 10:30 while at the beach on summer vacation? It's not gunna work like that...at all.
I'm just really unhappy with the way things are going and I need things to do. That's where you people come in. Aside from the following, what is something I can do with people and while I'm alone?
With People
-Sit on the beach
-Go swimming in the ocean
-Hang around in the house
-Go to the osprey (which we'll be attending illegally since we're not 21 and older, but my friends gma owns the place)
-Go to SeaSide (which we'll need an adult with us because the place is known for drugs and gang violence)
-Go fishing/crabbing
-Go on the board walk and spend all our money
-Make the Manasquan Beach Project (movie we're gunna make to make fun of the Blair Witch Project)
Alone
-Sit on the beach (I'll burn to a crisp within 2 hours...)
-Go swimming (I'm afraid of the ocean...and sharks...)
-Hang around in the house (which I'll probably do after my friends leave)
So, aside from what I have listed above, what is something I can do at the beach to keep me occupied? Also, what is some way I can manage things around the beach house to make it a bit more enjoyable for me and not ruin everyone elses vacation?
