Never heard that one. I did, however hear a ton of jokes associating Mr Obama with Alabama, as in "o(f) (Ala)bama," and Jay Leno had a news clip where the name was spelled O'Bama, but this morning was the first tome that I ever heard someone on the "Today Show" broadcasting from Dublin claim him as his "8th cousin," or some such.

Lol, also a British newspaper last week showed a family tree demonstrating how Obama and Brad Pitt are also 9th cousins - I was not aware!
