Does anyone read these books? I saw the preview for the movie and it looks interesting... I thought about getting the first book to read after I have my baby. I'll be on bedrest after my C-section and want something good to read. Any comments?

AND PLEASE BE NICE. Even if YOU don't like them, others might, so keep that in mind when commenting.

I want to read them too. From the trailer, I feel like the books might be better than the movie. There are parts of it that look really good, but I don't think I'll like the main characters lol

A friend on Facebook told me the books are amazing. I don't have a WHOLE lot of time to read, but I figure that I can read while the baby naps and stuff, while I'm stuck on my couch for 3 weeks.

The movie preview sparked my interest in the books too! I haven't started reading yet, but I did just download Beautiful Creatures to my nook. Fantasy romance YA novels are a guilty pleasure of mine. 😱 🙂

Never heard of them before actually, haha. I haven't seen the movie trailer either.

But I just looked it up. It sounds kinda interesting. I might pick it up and try to read it 🙂

At first I thought it was a movie taken from the Pretties/Uglies books serie. The trailer didn't seem too bad, but I'm kinda sick of the fantasy romance YA novels. Unfortunately, romance seems to go hand in hand with fantasy for teens... So I'm miserable these days XD

When I start reading YA fantasy romance novels again, I might try them out.

I just finished reading the first book and the story didn't completely hook me, but I enjoyed it enough that I'll probably continue reading the series.

It started out slow and didn't really hold my interest until about 100 pages in, but if you get past that, it picks up pace. There were a few times when I thought the book dragged on (really should have been edited down) but the over all plot was interesting. The writing bugged me at times but not enough to keep me from finishing the series. HisMrs if you like the YA fantasy romance genre then you'll probably enjoy the series.

I'm not really big on certain genres, persay, but I thought the story looked interesting. :)
