I'm one of the people now!
Just posting a little note to let you all know that I'm stepping down as headbitch mod, and from the modding team in general.
I'm not leaving, but I haven't had the time to keep on top of all the duties BB needs and deserves.
Thank you so much to all the members, whether you were taking part in a competition I helped run, or whether I was scolding you via PM for the nasty comments you made 😉
A (bigger) thank you to all my fellow mods, old and current, it's been so much fun to work with you guys over the years. The biggest thanks to B of course, BB was my first forum ever and it totally ruined forums for me, this one was so awesome and no other one could compare! I joined in 2005 and I *think* it was within a year I was a mod, so it's been almost 10 years on BB for me. You guys have no idea how much work she puts into this place.
The stuff we've done over the last 10 years have been so much fun, some of you guys really have no idea, and it's so hard to explain the amount of work the modding teams have put into running this place, the amount of work I've seen people put into a place they wanted to make fun was amazing, I look forward to seeing that from the other side!
Some of my personal highlights that will be way too insider for many of you!
B attacking people with a shoe,
Kean and Lyri buying the boards,
Arriving too late for, but reading all about, that horse she rode in on,
The other countless awards shows highlights
- Matt storming the stage,
- The absolute chaos of running the backstage, the front stage and the chat room during an awards,
- The banter in the chartroom during and after those shows (I still remember the stories Nix!! 😉)
- The Boards Buzz newsletter recounting all the BB gossip, turing BB into a reality show, that was way head of it's time (that lasted one issue!)
- Hosting an awards show
Watching the BB Big Brother (that was some experimental forum stuff!)
The Warewolves game!

All the stuff about BB could fill a book and I thoroughly enjoyed being a mod here!
Naturally I wrote this thread while playing Sarah McLachlan on a loop - as any child of 90s TV does during sad times.
