Becoming DVD Voice-over

Sorry if this has been hashed over a thousand times before, but I couldn't find this info anywhere, and I was hoping the members of this lovely board could help me.

I remember the final voice over on Becoming Part 1, that lovely long monologue while Buffy is running to the library, being done by Whistler, but on my season 2 DVD releases, it seems to be Seth Green. And wasn't the one at the beginning originally done by David Boreanaz?

Anyone know why they changed it? I'm sure TPTB had an excellent reason, but IMO, I find it doesn't work quite as well.
 
I hadn't noticed, but voice overs bug me. I'll have to look into that one! I'm sure someone knows. They know everything.
 
The beginning voice over was done by David in the original airing, but changed to the Whistler in future airings. Not sure why.

The one at the end was always the whistler, I believe. Can't tell you why Seth Green would be giving it. That's way out of the ballpark area.
 
I think I've got it sussed. It was all just a mistake, really.

The close captioning on my DVD credited Oz, and I took it at its word (oops), but when I pulled out the ancient VHS copies of the episode I bought when they first came out, the CC credits Whistler.

Thats what I get for nto listening more carefully before I bother harmless message boards. 😉

Who can? Aha! Tried to do that for fun, and you literally can't post less than 20 characters... I bet there's a lot of people here who have never realied that, for obvious reasons. Kinslayer?
