What did you think of those two episodes? I loved it! I almoust cried in the end when Buffy killed Angel and I enjoyed a few quotes:

Spike: Someone wasnt worthy...

Drusilla: Sorry, I was caught in the moment....

What did you like?

These are two of my favorite episodes. I loved the battle sceen at the end of Becoming Part 1. I never expected them to kill Kendra off so soon. The Xander speech to unconscious Willow in Becoming part 2 was so sweet. Oz had to come and ruin the moment.

Giles: It's a trick. They get inside my head, make me see things I
want.
Xander: Then why would they make you see me?
Giles: You're right. Let's go.

I thought that was funny. I thought The Master was coming back for some reason. In the previews you see a vampire that kinda looks like The Master jump down and attack Giles. I was like "woah!" but obviously it wasn't him.

It was so sad when Buffy killed Angel and left Sunnydale. I'm glad they both made it back somehow in the end.

These two episodes are ranked up their with some of my favorites.

I love sword fight at the end. That's the best part.

It's pivotal when Buffy tells her Mom about being the Slayer, when Spike joins forces with Buffy (it's the beginning of him starting to be good).

I love the argument in part 1 between the scoobs, and I think that Buffy killing Angel at the end was a shock. I never saw it coming, but I wasn't really that affected by it. I though it was great!
Overall, I give it a 10!
(except for the flashbacks. I hate flashbacks.)

I love both episodes...I love the flashbacks...when Darla sired Liam, when Angelus was talking to Dru,..totally awesome!
Becoming Part Two was great, but the final scene looked pretty fake,..it was too obvious that that guy wasn't David!,...that guy looked like Xander...or Giles...so no David...but,besides that the episode was wonderfeul...I cried so hard when Buffy killed Angel...well,she didn't kill him,she sent him to hell...but you know what I mean

And then there was:

joice:"have we met before?"
spike:"yehh, u put an axe into my shoulder once. Remember? Keep the hell away from my daughter!"

and

Giles: It's a trick. They get inside my head, make me see things I
want.
Xander: Then why would they make you see me?
Giles: You're right. Let's go.

Those were great and I thought it was kinda cute how Spike layed Dru's head in his lap while he was riving

And now the important question:

What song is playing when Buffy leaves Sunnydale? What is it called?

Full of Grace is playing by Sarah Mclachlan. I've been a huge Sarah fan since I found that out years ago, I bought the cd the song is on, Surfacing, and it's just amazing. These are my two favorite episodes ever, I think they were what really started by total Buffy obsession. It was heartbreaking and funny and had action with the sword fight, romance, Willow's first big spell, just everything I love about the show.

this will always be a fave of mine.. i really wanted to see it and since the video came out before it aired on tv i bought the video lol I loved this episode, i cried at the end 🙁

I loved these episodes! The scenes between Buffy, Spike and Joyce were excellent. The whole 'I'm in a band' cover up was really funny. Whistler was a great addition in these episodes, his voice overs were really well done. The fight scene between Buffy and Angelus at the end was great. And when Buffy and Angel are telling each other how much they love each other and then she has to kill him....that part was so sad.

I love both these episodes, Becoming part 2's one of my faves - makes me cry everytime. It just has so much heartbreak - expulsion (well ok thats not heartbreaking lol), getting kicked out of her home, her best friends badly injured and then killing angel. And the music over the end scenes fits so well, when shes on the bus its just like 'oh god'
The flashbacks in part 1 were amazing, i love getting buffy history, and there are some classic lines in it. Oh and i like Whistler despite his wardrobe lol, specially his closing lines:

"Bottom line is, even if you see 'em coming, you're not ready for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it does. So what are we, helpless? Puppets? No. The big moments are gonna come. You can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that counts. That's when you find out who you are. You'll see what I mean."

I just realised how much of those episodes i had forgotten...Gotta buy those s2 dvds soon!😀
I loved the episodes aswell...Sweet Xander/Willow moment...and just everything about it!

I didn't like the Bangel parts of the episodes, cuz I'm a Spuffy fan 😉. I liked everything else, especially the fight scenes. I thourght Spikes speech about why he wanted to help Buffy save the world (he's from London, how can he support Man U for gods sake 🙂 ) and the bit where Spike tells Buffys mum they are in a band were both very funny.

I loved the part when Angel called Spike sit n spin...i was on the floor laughing my parents thought it was a little strange

i also liked how Buffy's mom and Spike got along it was pretty funny

everyone

i like it to how they got along and everyhting too ity was cool and i cryed at the end when she killed angel and then after that she lefted and then came back and i was wonder why did she come back anyways

This was an excellent finale to Season 2. However, there was a plothole that was overlooked . . . why didn't Xander simply tell the cops that Buffy was not responsible for Kendra's death and the attacks on the Scoobies in the library? Then we would have been spared of that nonsence of Buffy being hunted down by the cops.

Also, Part I was a prime example of why Kendra should have stuck to her own traditional style of being a Slayer, instead of adapting Buffy's style of utilizing the Scoobies' help.

As for that moment when Angel first set eyes on Buffy: "Lollipop, lollipop, oh lolli-lollipop! Lollipop!"

the cops wouldn't have believed xander, at least i don't think so. also, buffy didn't only become their primary and only susspect, she attacked an officer, refused arrest and has her princopal to testify against her (and by that time we already know the mayor was involved too)

You would think that after seeing this episode a ba-gillion times you would stand immune to the tragic end. Nope! I still cry every single time!!! Now, everytime my teacher says "close your eyes" (when we vote for class prez and stuff) I started getting all teary. It was so sad! It's mostly when Buffy leaves Sunnydale that gets me, but seeing Angel dies sucks too! I just loved the episode. It was the PERFECT ending for such a perfect season.
