Chosen was a great payoff for what was set up in Welcome to the Hellmouth.

Yeah it was, and the hellmouth is gone now. lol! But there is another one in Cleaveland! LOL

I definitely picked "Chosen." The series premiere is obviously classic, but the first season is a bit too silly and monster-of-the-week-ish for me. "Chosen" was just so dramatic and intense (with some hilarious scenes too!)... it's epic.

Welcome To The Hellmouth was a great episode but I prefer Chosen.

I voted for Chosen, the 1st episode was good, but i think i liked the last one better. It was more emothional because you know all of the characters so well, and there is'nt so much intro stuff

A good question, after some serious thought I had to choose Welcome to the Hellmouth, I guess because Chosen is so recent it is great to go back and see what Buffy and Willow and all the characters were then and what they woudl become. Besides it also meant 7 years of a great show as opposed to 1 episode and nothing to follow
