What are the differences between the two? I have never seen the UK version and I am currently watching the US version season one now. I kind of like it but it's not all that great I guess. I wonder if the UK version is better? No spoilers please!

The UK version is infinitely better in all ways. The characters are richer, they actually have chemistry with each other, and the episodes are much better written. The US version writers have mimicked the UK episodes but poorly.

I personally love the US version. I really love the actors playing the principle roles, and the storyline has sucked me in. However, I am going to give the UK version a try because I promised Faith and Darla. LOL

I have an 'I told you so' all ready to go...
I like the US version a lot and think it is pretty good.
I am going to watch the UK version soon though because I just can't get skins out of my mind. Seeing how they redid that and well didn't do well makes me wonder if the UK version of being human will be better.

See, I actually like the US Skins, I think they (surprisingly to me) did an excellent job of porting that one over, while they did a crappy job of porting over Being Human.
It is not that it is horrible it is just having watched the UK it seemed out of place. Like I just couldn't stop thinking of the other actors.
I will say one thing I really enjoy from the US version is Tony and Tea that is interesting and I would like to see where that goes.

I saw that BBCAmerica is showing it on there, but I don't want to jump in with Season 2 eps without watching Series 1 first.
Oh I thought it was season one and two they were showing. It said pilot at 12am where I live. Then it said the pilot again like a week from now.

Well from what I have seen so far I am enjoying the US version far more. I am going to watch a few more episodes but I am not liking it to much.
Especially since it's Season 3 that's starting here now...
Seasons 1 & 2 are available on DVD. They don't seem to be on the schedule on BBC America - only Season 3 🙂
