That might be what was meant...in which case, call it okra. 😏 However, the US and Canada also refer to sponge fingers as lady fingers.

There seems to be a bit of confusion here, Giles said he liked finger food. Should Lady equate to fish then it would be better that way as Giles might like fish fingers yet he'd get have been embarrassed if he'd been caught by Buffy with Joyce's fingers in his mouth (lady fingers).
